Kreta 2011 - Paleochora

Ein Video von einem Besuch des Ortes Paleochora im Mai 2011. Bei Ausflügen in die Umgebung - mit dem Fahrrad - wurden die Orte Ánidri, Azogirés sowie das Pelekianotikós-Tal und der Ort Sklavopoúla aufgesucht.

Hats off for getting out and about on a bicycle! Marvelous film of authentic Greece. Almost like the Greece (mainland and Corfu) I cycled round in 1970s. Cheers David 👍

Fine film, and a stady hand. I too love Paleochora. I would think it is hard to go by bike all those places. Up and up it goes, one way at least. :D

Hallo
in Azogires, einem kleinen Ort nordöstlich von Paleochora, zweigt eine kleine Straße links ab (als ich da war gab es auch ein Hinweisschild). Diese Straße geht in eine Schotterstraße über, den man ohne ab zu zweigen bis zum Ende folgt. Von da an geht ein schmaler Fußweg einen Hang hinauf. Man kann die Höhle von unterwegs nicht sehen, erst wenn man fasst davor steht (sie ist hinter großen Felsen verborgen). Auf Google Earth kann man alles gut erkennen.
