Thank you - I'm going to attempt my leather car seats - they're in worse condition, however I will do a wee bit at a time for all the repairs, and then paint the whole seat afterwards :-)
This helped me alot while using my kit. These kits don’t come with really good instructions… & they leave out tons of details… that you went over in this video. Appreciate this 😎👍🏾
Thanks so much for this! I have just discovered a tear in just the same place on my 300SL driver's seat, so very encouraging to see how I can fix it myself!
Thanks I've been wanting to do this job for ages. ! I think most Barchetta owners will have to do this at some point just because of the forward position of the seats. Not sure what will be next. Keep watching!
Hi, Paulie! Just wanted to say thanks for all the great content. I have a yellow 97 Brachetta and i love it. Had it four three years, she isnt perfect but still creates the biggest smiles. I am totally going to try repairing my leather seats now. Also, the speakers are really dull, even for me, i am not a sound guy" but would love a bit more quality speakers. Have you thought about making a video about replacing speakers?
I love that you're enjoying the videos. Good luck with your seats! I was lucky mine only had a small tear. No plans to do anything with speakers in the near future but I'm sure I'll get to them eventually!
@@pauliecabs Your brake videos totally helped me when changing out the calipers and disks last summer. Have you looked into doing any performance upgrades? I havent seen many perfomance mods done to the barchetta, most people add strut bars and coilovers to stiffen it but have not sean any real perfomance upgrades other than exhaust mods.
@@itsDennisLorentz They are very strict with the annual inspection here in Spain. It's almost impossible to get anything non standard through the test so sadly I'm kind of restricted with what I can do.
I just tried the colorlock leather kit for the red barchetta seats myself. Boy that alcohol to prep the surface smells bad but the red is actually a perfect match. How's the chance of me resting from repairing my barchetta seats and your video pops up? 😀👍
Someone who can show how to replace the gaskets and tubes/pipes for the gas tank. My Barchetta is a 1997 model, only gone 32 000 km. it’s a bit annoying to sniff the odour of gasoline when I’m out on the road.
if your pants are wet, (jogger, go the the beach, work all day and drive your truck home with wet paints) your seat will crack form the hot sun. get a seat cover and that wont happen. save you lots of money.

So glad to hear you've found it useful. It's not hard to do and incredibly satisfying when you see the results. Give it a try!

Thanks for the vid. I might try this, as NO shop has been willing to accept fixing my tear...
You can do it! Good luck

Great timing! I had though about completely changing the colour of the leather but I'll leave that for another day.
I have the same issue with my cloth seats. Fortunately they can be fixed with a few stitches.
I think it's because the seat is that much in front of where the door shuts, it's always going to get worn

This seems to be a common problem. I've seen lots about this on fiatforum and FB. Mine was done by the previous owner just before I bought it.

J'ai eu de l'aide de Google ! Il reste quelques vidéos que je dois encore traduire. Je vais les faire bientôt.
Nice job, but I think the music is very disturbing, sad to say.
Thanks, sorr you don't like the music
