Hi! Just wanted to share that yung seats po ng PAL in business class vary very differently depending on the aircrafts, on shorter flights smaller planes like the A320 and A321 lang ang ginagamit nila, which is what was used on your first flight, so mas luma and outdated and business class and the whole cabin, so honestly not worth it and business class nila on short flights since parang premium economy lang nga. On longer flights naman, bigger planes so mas updated yung cabin and newer business class. Their newest and best business product that you were expecting ay nasa A350 (which they only have 2 of and typically use for US and Europe bound flights) and the redesigned A330. So yeah, very inconsistent nga ang business class ng PAL which is why I usually avoid them when business on certain routes na hindi US or Europe bound since I know on those routes, hindi yung best product nila ang makukuha ko. Sa current PAL Fleets today, Wala po Silang A330-NEO na aircraft.
Lahat ng A330 nila is CEO yan..or (Current Engine Option) pero meron Silang A330 na retrofitted (I think ito Yung ibig mong Sabihin na may privacy cover Yung business class) sa pgka ka Alam ko ginagamit Yung retrofitted A330CEO ng PAL sa Australia & Hawaii routes nila..most of the time...

but I highly recommend Emirates.... Oh my goodness the best from their economy to business class, great experience and sarap ng food ng Emirates airline too 😋

They advised us to install app called “flyPAL” then from there you can access movies sa app using their wifi na yun lang ma-access. 😄

Nag PAL business class ako last January; Melbourne to Manila sya. Hindi ganyan ang seat ko. Malaki sya, parang pod. Ayaw ko to bagong planes na’to ang pangit ng seats. Parang economy lang yan ng ibang airlines eh.
I’ll consider cathay pacific or sg airlines sa next trip ko kung may risk pala na ganyan lang makuha ko na seat.

These type of business class seats po are actually on older planes na hindi pa updated ang cabin and only used for short flights, and ang best product po talaga ng PAL in business class ay nasa long flights na gamit ang A350 and redesigned na A330 kung saan doon ang best product nila. Unfortunately, very inconsistent nga po talaga ang PAL sa cabin designs nila. And better to fly Cathay of SG. But in those airlines din po may older and less updated cabins din sila, but there are lower chances na makukuha yung planes na ganon.
