This particular suit is the Spider-Armor MK IV, which was Peter's most technologically advanced suit made with nanotechnology while he was CEO of Parker Industries in Amazing Spider-Man Volume 4 (2015). So the glue around his eyes is actually a glow from it being a tech suit a la the MCU Movies' Spider-Man and Iron Man suits.
As far as Web Swing being unparalleled, it's certainly the benchmark, but off the top of my head, without any additional set up, Ant-Man's "Giant Stomp" is the same cost with the same damage except with the additional effect of dealing 1 Damage to each Minion.
    Great first episode!

Amazing first episode! I wouldn’t have expected 32 minutes about one card to be so enjoyable but it definitely was! And I totally agree that it’s a great card to start with. Spidey is most people’s first hero, and people get excited about big damage.
I think the card itself is great, but I would’ve preferred Peter to have a couple medium damage cards in his kit instead of having 3 of these. It’s rough spending 3 to take out a 4 or 5 health minion but unfortunately that’s sometimes what you gotta do. But as far as bringing the villain down it’s great!
Now for me, I’m a Backflip man myself lol. 0 cost to prevent 3-6 damage is a wonderful trade, especially considering that you’re getting a card when the villain attacks you anyways. And if that card happens to be Backflip and you play it immediately, then that to me is the perfect Spider-man moment 😀

I enjoyed this first episode! Spider-Man was the first hero I played as and this conversation makes me want to try him again some time as it's been a while. I liked that the conversation was centered around one card but also branched out.
I'd probably give the card a B+, but I much prefer seeing it end game or if a nasty minion is out. I think I prefer Black Widow's Dance of Death for being a bit more versatile even if it does less total damage.

Thanks for giving a listen! Glad you enjoyed.
I do love this card, just for the pure damage and fun it brings every time it hits the table.

Which precon do you use for Peter Parker? Him and Captain Marvel have two precons. The card list that comes wrapped in their deck and the list in the learn to play.

That’s a good question! I’m not sure, I didn’t realize there were two

I'm sorry, but the statement regarding Swinging Web Kick being unmatched in terms of efficiency is just plain false.
Swinging Web Kick establishes what an efficient card is (3 cost + card itself for 8 damage is 2.0), but there are many many cards with higher efficiency than that or cards with same efficiency but with additional effects -Giant Stomp, Pinpoint Strike, Lightning Bolt, Lunging Strike, Hulk Smash are just some 3 cost examples, not to mention cards of other costs.
In terms of efficiency, Swinging Web Kick is the definition of average - it defines what is "on curve" but there many cards above curve. Most cards with greater than 2.0 efficiency have a condition of some kind, but that isn't what was said. Also, 1 cost 4 damage is also same efficiency (card itself+1 resource) and is quite common.
I think if you are going to have accurate conversations about efficiency, you have to do a little bit of math.
