My HC is that Diluc sent Mika out to go find the people who weren’t able to make it, and he comes back like 3 hours later covered in snow with a haunted look on his face dragging Bennett behind him and just looks Diluc dead in the eye and goes “Dragonspine.”

I swear tho, i think neuvillette is the kind of character who would try to gift water. It'll be wrapped inside a bottle and always labeled on where the water came from.
Childe would probably be a Santa or an amazing gift-giver. I think if Kaeya and Venti are together causing ruckus, I know Yae and Ayato will catch wind of it and join in. The four of them will either gaslight everyone waiting for Santa or actually help Diluc set-up the santa gift-giving. (Maybe Ayato could set up a find-santa mystery too to keep everyone entertained)
I would personally love it, it’s a practical gift too! Gotta keep hydrated!
Tighnari would either be yelling at Cyno through the phone like "YOU'VE BEEN TO MONDSTADT BEFORE HOW DID YOU GET LOST" or be glad he doesn't have to face the wrath of Cyno's jokes.

To be fair, with Alhaitham and Kaveh, I can see them BOTH giving each other coal for Christmas as secret santas, and being snarky about it. 😂
I can see Faruzan being the one that tells lots and lots of stories, but they're all technical and even meandering, and people start leaving during it but she's so absorbed in telling it, she either doesn't notice or doesn't care and insists on finishing. "You might *learn* something, you know!"
Also, Sucrose would make you *unbelievable* gifts. Either in the "holy crap, how did you even make this? This is perfect!!" Like you love lemonade, and she managed to cultivate you a lemon tree that grows the perfect tart and sweet lemons so all you have to do is squeeze it directly into a glass. No need to add anything. Or she goes a little too far and makes you something weird and even a little disturbing. Like she hears how much you like birds and she recreates and puts together the skeleton of a long extinct bird.

Ayaka is very much the kind of person who desperately wants to help in the kitchen but doesn't really know what she's doing. So Xiangling is trying to give her tasks that she can't mess up too badly: "Why don't you fold these napkins?" "I've just finished making the punch, how about you take a tray of drinks around?"
lyney i could also see as a top gift giver because hes a magician and while lynette is kind of upfront with giving the gift lyney is just like "check your stocking you might find a present there" or something like that especially for the little kids like klee and yaoyao. ayaka i could 100% see sitting by the window waiting for santa because she hasnt heard of him but ayato knows the truth and wants to keep it a surprise for her
I can just imagine Kaveh's progression from animatedly chatting with people by the fire and in the kitchens while making the most elaborate gingerbread house to passed out crying in the corner cradling a bottle of wine then getting carried out into a guest room by Alhaitham lmao.
I feel like Qiqi is there ONLY because Baizhu had to keep holding her hand to get there. She's got Changsheng as a minder for the party while he's chilling by the fire. There is something SO wholesome about the 'waiting for Santa' tier though, shoutout to Diluc for making their dreams come true!

Alice was the one that organized this party, she wrote Klee letters telling her about Sant Akloss and then Alice began sending invitations to everyone, but Diluc's invitation had instructions on "Can you do this for klee?" And he didn't get the Party bit of the letter and showed up dressed up as Santa without knowing everyone would be there 😂😂😂 and Klee had been telling everyone about this Sant Akloss, Itto was the first believer and then he spread the word LOL meanwhile Kaeya was flirting with everyone wiggling a Mistletoe and Jean got angry, took the Mistletoe out of his hand, Lisa was in the bathroom, Jean forgot that she had the Mistletoe in her hand and when Lisa came out of the bathroom she was like "Is this an invitation?? 😏" 💕
my HC is that the travelers finally convinced diluc that they were old enough to drink and are super drunk since they haven't had a drink in years.
Chevruese(the left over non-Aloy character) would probably be waiting for Santa so she could arrest him for trespassing constantly but when she finds out it's Diluc she reluctantly lets him off the hook like she knows what this guy has done that would be a crime she just doesn't care because he's a nice enough person that she'd feel guilty if she arrested him
I like the idea that Kujou Sara would act like waiting for Santa is beneath her, but then while she's near the window she'd be thinking to herself: "Only little kids wait for Santa....Santa please I was really good this year! Commenting again to share the head cannon of everyone who got lost actually formed a small campsite by a small frozen lake and camped the night away together, it would start with Bennett getting lost and cyno finding him and them starting the camp while tighnari is trying to give directions over the phone and more and more lost people show up to their camp over time until someone goes out to find them

I was thinking of this earlier, either Diluc or Noelle are delivering presents as Santa, maybe both together. Noelle because her name and she is the type to go to extremes and literally go to every house in mondstadt in one night. Diluc because he's rich and has a secret nighttime identity already, and it would be sweet for him to be generous with the kids.

9:18 I would agree with this if it wasn't for the fact that Lyney passed off the "Hydro Dragon, Hydro Dragon, don't cry" thing as "just a legend", even when Freminet was right there and had just said that he believes that "legend". Lynette even comments on it, telling Lyney point blank that he "might be a better magician if [he] understood the concept of romanticism or could at least play along."
So, tbh, I think Lyney would be the one to give Freminet crap for believing in Santa, while Lynette would be more supportive. ^^
