Mere days after the start of the Ukrainian war, the Ukrainian-Dutch composer Maxim Shalygin wrote Drop after drop for Festivals for Compassion. The goal was to share a piece of music with festivals throughout Europe as an act of solidarity and compassion with our Ukrainian colleagues, artists and all those who are suffering.
During the Cello Biennale 2022, the Biennale Quintet played a version of Drop after drop for cello quintet.
