Zakes Mda, legally Zanemvula Kizito Gatyeni Mda is a South African novelist, poet, playwright and painter. He has won major South African and British literary awards for his novels and plays. We met up with him at the Keyes Art Mile in Rosebank to chat about his inspiration and the origins of his work.
