Nothing more satisfying than rolling out of solo lane, lvl 15 at 10 mins, and absolutely destroying everything in your path raid boss style. Same goes for Jorm. So much fun
The problem is you are actually that strong. Trying to fight one that has half a clue as to what they're doing is awful, especially against a warrior. I'm not sure if it's later in the video or if it was a small detail that was missed, but Cthulu basically applies the Sanity Break debuff to all enemies within a certain radius of him while in his ult. Which means in his ult he basically gets the damage mitigation automatically.
For solo I like to level the 1 more than the 2 since the attack speed reduction scales and its cooldown is already pretty short, its just a more reliable way to damage enemies imo.
Yeah same for me, im a diamond Cthulhu and i like leveling the 1 as well. I also like getting blink as my second relic just so i can blink in over a wall or into their backline and pop my ulti. Its a great initiation tool and really fun to play with him using blink even though thorns is probably better.

Love these informative vids. Would really love to see a skadi one soon. I’ve been struggling super hard with her, need some pointers. Lol just realized these were alphabetical never mind.
You said Cuthulu doesn’t really have a specific counter. I think Poseidon can give him a run personally. He can knock you up to cancel your 2. Poseidon’s AoE stops movement abilities (so your 3). Poseidon can move fast enough to get out of your abilities very easily, so it’s hard to hit an insanity combo, and chase him.
I personally would have gotten Midguardian Mail fifth item, but still a good build. They had 3 auto attackers though, so it would've been nice. Plus it gives you like 300 hp.
Always enjoyed watching your videos as your one of the most informative and easy to understand UA-camrs. I would Love to see you use my solo main, Odin. Going to sub in hope that it pops up on my recommended someday.
Only thing about spirit robe is its not that good while he's in his ult cause he's cc immune (I would rather have Mantle), im also not a fan of the obs shard pickup, I think Reaver, Estaff, Magus or heck even Pythags would be better.
I actually beat the shit out of one as guan earlier, not sure if he just sucked but I went trans and bullied him. Played careful till I got defense then just ran at him even in ult
I played set against cthulu today and was only hitting him for like 30 damage with my 1 late game. The only time I could kill him was in his ult cause he couldn't dash away.
I prefer playing warriors like Achilles and bellona in sola but I got so tired of fighting jorm that I just gave in and started playing Cthulhu and now I win every.... single.... game
