THE JAPANESE VERSION FOR 2 PLAYERS IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE 4 PLAYERS AMERICAN VERSION: in 2 player version, health is shown as blocks, like Double Dragon and your health only decreases when you are hit (not steadily decreases over time like 4 player version) and 2 lives default per credit. You have 3 buttons - Punch, Kick, Back-kick (4player has only 2 buttons - Punch and Kick), and guns have infinite ammo (but do minimal damage, and disappear when knocked out your hand.) And there's bits of censorship differences between the Japanese and US/World versions.
That's some interesting info. This just got released via Arcade Archives on PS4 with a choice of US or Japanese versions. Will check out the Japan version on a second run. Just praying they release Vendetta / Crime Fighters 2 as well. Such a great beat em up and never ported to a console legally before!
This just came out on PS4. Port by Arcade Archives. You can choose between US or Japan version which have some differences and there's very basic trophies to aim for too.
Boss 1: Roderick Boss 2: Mason Boss 3: Bruce Boss 4: Sawyer Boss 5: Freakie Boss 6: Reggie Boss 7: Meathead Boss 8: Faust Marconi and his Bodyguard Leo
So Fyi, the guy screaming dont shoot at the end, should you get the key before kicking him he whips out a machine and shoots you. There's also a bonus of fighting every boss in the game at once which shadow skipped...because well...its sorta impossible with no damage
Hey Shadowserg, any time to return to House of the Dead? You need to complete House of the Dead 4 and complete the tetralogy! (not counting Overkill and Scarlet Dawn though lol)
you fight a random orange spike hair punk, Jason, a biker with a chain, a guy with a chainsaw, Freddy Krueger, Muhammad Ali, Guile, and Duke Nukem in a suit
@@edwardgaines6561 So was Final Fight that was released in the same year, and that game is the opposite. But Crime Fighters is WAY more hard hitting, I'll give it that.
I am familar with this game the boss were in very easy mode specially boss number 3 was very easy since even the experienced player will taste his chainsaw and get stuck to be slaughtred .anyway very nice playing .

You must had almost saintly patience to do this run!
I’ve fished out several of the official names.
0:11 Crazy
1:04 J. J.
1:42 Shark
2:44 Max
5:59 Bull
More to come when/if I find them.
6:22 On the hardest difficulty, you face two big, suited guys. One White, and one Black.
6:58
Game's moment of truth; Don't fall for the villain's crocodile cryface or grab the key!
6:15 Platoon reference
Oh? I thought Guile was being melodramatic.
I still remember my fingers hurting for how persistent the enemies were in that game.... long afternoons to finish it at the arcade...
The beat fot every boss is the same 😆 I played this game in my youth. Opps... Guess Im showing my age 😆
Great nostalgic content
This is the best game have seen in all my long life really i love this game
You have no idea how long it took me to find that Freddy Kruger enemy from my childhood memory. 3:43

Wow I've not even heard of this, never mind play it, early style beat em up, not bad tbh. Nice gameplay.

that ending sentence must be the most unnadecuate joke ever in gaming history
In stage 2, you can see that some of the posters on the walls are actually moving.
HAHA those bad guys that keep adjusting their hair. HAHAHA

They did that at the end of Vendetta too. I remember beating Faust with my last quarter and realizing the game wasn't over yet
I don't know if it's possible to take no damage if you take the key while sparing the fatman.
I saw this arcade growing up as a kid and was afraid of Boss 5 thinking he was Freddy Kreuger.
Not even Shadowserg wanted to deal with that stupid boss rush at the end of the game.
Konami Renegade?

The music blots out the sound effects... this game looks like a good time waster but only if you can balance out the sfx and music.
Agree same here as well the sound effects doesn't heard almost AT all! I remember it having more vibrant sound effects in general.

Maybe It's due to it being on an emulator? Cause emus usually can't run the games like the original hardwares.
@@Unaliq I remember playing it on my mame and sounded better,i will check it again to see the results!

Alright. Guess it was from Shadow's MAME?
You fight a bunch of 80s horror movie villains, Guile, and Duke Nukem
you fight a random orange spike hair punk, Jason, a biker with a chain, a guy with a chainsaw, Freddy Krueger, Muhammad Ali, Guile, and Duke Nukem in a suit
The only bad thing about this game:
Small character sprites that appear to be generic.
Well keep in mind this was in the 80s, on the ground floor of beat-em ups!

I imagin it's tedious fighting bosses with no flinch frames, hit sparks or sounds. How do you know if you even hit them or not?
Their hitboxes are also weird as fuck.
Dope
i NEVER understood why tf your life drops down even though you DONT take damage. the same happens in Spiderman the arcade game
A cheap way to get extra quarters from the players. Thankfully, this nonsense got removed in Japanese version and the normal Lifebar was added.
Just like 1943, they want to bleed your quarters.
play Michael Jackson on Arcade Plz 🙏
Is this a homebrew?
No, it's before you were born.
This was a fun game☻
Wait, what about the special stage?
Even with infinite quarters, the special stage mindbroke me and mademe go insane.
Game for real men!
Yah!
This was made on easy or very easy mode 100%
Hmmm... not terribly impressive tbh
