its called the nine, cause they made it nine hours.. it was back in the days when they had limited time to make a tune cause they all had to travel to dj fresh's mum n dads place to out in the stix to use his set up.
@@tsifubar9744 breakbeat.co.uk/features/the-story-behind-the-nine/ Maldini/Vegas says they will never tell us WHO the Nine are, but its deeper than 9 figures within DnB.. @that my head jumped to 9 orders of angels esoterica but i doubt...
Back then every tune was phat, like compressed beacuse of our audio codecs. Now remasterd gives them crispyness, every sample in their on form. Magical!
I remember this track from essential mix many, many years ago. That cassette were never out of my deck in my car. I even went so far as to scare the girls with certain twists and turns. But we were too young to be true.
In all honesty, this isn't the kind of music that fits into any genre I'd normally enjoy, but there's something about this one that invokes a feeling that I just can't place. It's oddly comforting but with a disturbing sense of something dark and sinister running through its core. It's almost like I've been hypnotised by an alien race who is trying to soothe and reassure me with hypnotic music, whilst scooping out parts of my brain for study. Hmm... maybe that's what the tingly feeling is that it's giving me. Either way, it's a great and invocative track for sure.
When people ask 'what's you favourite...this/that' It can be hard to answer but when someone says 'what's you fave dnb track' it's the easiest question ever ;)
Anyone think this sounds really similar to Future Cut - Specialist? That track is on DJ Dara's Future Perfect mix. This track was just in a recent Thrasher video and I couldn't help but hear the similarities.
AlexDozer facepalm... Go and listen to your vinyls punk. One of those who still thinks vinyl has better quality than crystal clear CD/digital audio quality.
Well I prefer them Crystal Clear. If you dont, well thats your own taste but no expert will tell you that vinyl is better. In the case of old music I dont mind it either but electronic music or anything being more recent, nope, crystal clear is the best. Remastering something from Vinyl to CD/WEB quality is mastering.
Postal Dude Vinyl is a lossless format, and it's analogue. We're not talking into account years worth of dust build-up here. When something is cut to vinyl it loses absolutely no quality whatsoever, not a single bit of compression. That's like playing a triangle and saying it sounds better when you record it as a WAV file and play it back. What you said is just insane sir.
Digital Flac is usually the same. 24Bit Flac even exists in Digital Format. Digital quality has the advantage that you dont have that typical vinyl noise crackling stuff. You cant avoid it completely on a vinyl. No matter how clean it is. Believe me. Never said that Vinyl isnt lossless. I said that it usually has that typical noise crackling to it which is pretty annoying for me. I dont really get all those Vinyl fanboys. There is not really any sense in taking this over Digital Flac. Probably just for collectors and guys who stuck in the last centuries. Digital/CD Quality is crystal clear. ;) if used as lossless. I dont talk about fucking MP3s. For those who say that Vinyl sounds better because its not crystal clear, fine. Doesnt change the fact that its worse in this moment than Digital lossless.
The greatest pure d&b tune ever hands down.
This will be played on my funeral....
+Jinxsta13 Much to your mother's delight, I'm sure.
Andrew Croxford she will fucking love it mate
Fuck yes!! Original! Drum n' Base you want to eat with a spoon...
Id rather have Miami Flashback played
hahaha. SAME
This song seemed to be every dj’s secret weapon in the early 2000’s. With so many fuzzy memories, this one stuck
Timeless , never remixed , perfect............
as a time-traveller i can confirm that this will be the global anthem in 3345 a.D..
I’m still jamming out to this even in 2022! Cheers from an old school Junglist in Suffolk!
2024 still flexing it 😊
May this tune be forever reloaded on that day...
🔥❤️🙌🏾
One of the best tracks of all time right here
Back in the day It actually WAS voted the greatest dnb track of all time
This was actually done by Dj Fresh and his crew
@@whufcgman Well it's some damn good shit!

its called the nine, cause they made it nine hours.. it was back in the days when they had limited time to make a tune cause they all had to travel to dj fresh's mum n dads place to out in the stix to use his set up.
it doesn't drop (I assume you mean that heavy bass tear) 9 times either. It's 11!

If feasible go and try to by the 12" singles and enjoy them on a decent system. It is insane how good that bass gets.
one of if not the most influential tracks ever made n still gets played out today
The states ive been in when this came on!!
Loved when this dropped in Bagleys back the day! Tune!!

I love your music, you got some great tunes too, keep it up!
4Flexx That particular hi-hat effect always made me picture a swarm of attacking locusts.
Stilll as massive 20 years later!! Man I can’t believe I have been a junglist for over 25 years 😂 🧓🏻

prepare to be let down. their new releases have been pretty bland
babyfacefister Their new releases are good. I liked Equilibrium and their remix of The Day Is My Enemy
Got this on vinyl from the time I lived in London 1999, it sounds WICKEEEED!
Classic track, that bass is the sound of impending doom..
ikr. song sounds scary af
Straight murderation on the dancefloor!! As MC Moose used to say back in the "Nothing can save ya!!"
Makes ya wana swim after a great white and nut it
There are so many more tracks that should be remastered and re-released. Vinyl exclusive tracks especially. China Cup, Hunted, The Pulse, etc.
Flashback to '98!!!!!!!!
1:17 hits so hard. Very dangerous track
1.47 the drop
ONE OF THE GREATEST.
Don't mess with The Nine....
Might have to double drop this one :)
9 drops to be honest thats why its called Nine
Haven’t heard this in like 20 years holy shit 😮
I walked into the better living centre for a 20000 person party to this song and thought a plane crashed into the side of the building!

It is techstep drum and bass.
F'in classic track. Brings back strong memories.
This and Messiah. The baddest tracks of the golden era
The tune that single handedly altered the course of an entire genre.
it feels organic, alive, and filthy as fuck.
They are back again! Let the End Anew!
Bad Company took DnB by storm with this track.
Masterpiece!
you really have to have a psychological problem to lay a title like this ..... well thank you !!!! bad compagny uk rules!!!! raw!!!
Remember first time i herd this them cymbals over the top are pure magical filth

Harder than a coffin nail 😻
When people ask 'what's you favourite...this/that' It can be hard to answer but when someone says 'what's you fave dnb track' it's the easiest question ever ;)
Game changer
Reminds me of One Nation, Mc Shabba & Fearless
in my opinion this is so much better than there new stuff. doesn't really compare
When DnB could effortlessly soundtrack any Alien, AVP, Predator movie. Could easily mute the film... and still understand what was going on!!!
Watch it from the aliens pov
2022 still here
2023 let’s go
The walls shaking in those filthy boozecans back in the day to this tune

What does the Logo mean?
Julius Szemelliker B for Bad C for Company :) (mirrored)
fits perfectly for a bad fucking day..
They made this in one day in the studio and didn't think much of it at the time.
Massive!

Yes you can. Why shouldn't you be able to do that?

i like the bit that goes bwa bhwa bwa bhwa bwa
Backwards and forwards mixed at the same time
holy mother of god
Badazz
dope af
Nobody had the guts to remix this.
There's no way to make this track better. The Messiah remixes never even remotely came close to the original. Some things are best left alone.
bralli and labra?
I'm not quite sure what you mean. If those are artists I've never heard of them.

Is there an audio clip anywhere. This looks interesting. But, I can't find this anywhere.
I will be burned to this track ......
