Awesome place. Crystal lake hike, June lake & Mary's lake fishing made a quick trip to Mammoth a memorable vacation for our family... snow removal should bring back viewership 😎
I do enjoy your channel, but it really grew with the unbelievable amount of snow last season. Seeing those completely buried houses and roads was a once in a lifetime event. I am sorry, but it’s the truth and it shouldn’t hurt at all, you were at the right place at the right time. I’m watching a lot of channels from Pacific Crest Trail through hikers and it’s absolutely beautiful in the high Sierra and you can only get there by hiking. It’s Wilderness Areas and National Parks. I’m 64, I’m not doing any of that, but UA-cam let’s me experience what I can’t do for myself, it’s like my Avatar.
@@Michael_J_M14 There are so many, but I will find you my favorite! They had an incredible and dangerous High Sierra portion, but it’s best to start at the beginning. I’ll let you know 🤔
@@Michael_J_M14 I found this guy that I really like, but I’ve only watched the High Sierra portion which is incredibly presented. There’s even a two hour High Sierra summary. ua-cam.com/video/DudzKJIFOjM/v-deo.html
Ideas bout your # of views - keep your length to about 20 minutes, may be one every other day and more drone footage. Also summer is vacation time and a lot of families are away. Your content is great even in the summer, love the travel showing how vast this part of the country is. You should pick up once it starts to snow.
I love that the June Lake property has that little creek running through there. I thought the mushiness was just run off and/or a spring, but there is more going on besides that. That just make that cute little neighborhood even better for me. Handy that it was there, I thought for sure you were going to have to use the water buffalo to rinse Sadie off. ; )
Coming over from Az. in just over 40 days for some trout fishing. We stay in Cardinal Village and then travel all over to fish. McGee creek is one of our stops. Up towards the horse corrals & the p-lot for the hikers. Love stream fishing for trout. Haven’t seen the water that fast in a long time…
Remind viewers to watch videos to their entirety, otherwise views may not be tallied by those poohbahs at youtube. Great stuff and super quality video for those of us who at one time called Mammoth home.
11:05 The smell of petrichor. There's nothing like it in the world, _especially_ out in the desert. Just something about it makes you feel like a thirsty world is coming to life.
High 50s sounds pretty inviting. We hit 107° in Vancouver today. SOME of the moisture from your little storm system has made its way this far north, but it's aloft about 35,000 ft and has zero effect on the hot temps on the ground here.
Views::::just need an epic snow season or swamped excavators. 😉 Shots like 20:30 creek flow are most interesting to me, so pleasing to see abundant flow even mid-late summer. Got some Tstorm action here in Central Valley, nothing better than out of season rain even if just a tease.
The water I'm sure was impacting your temp sensor, OTOH most thunderstorms will bring serious downdrafts from aloft that will suppress temps at the surface pretty fast.
Well Ben, if an island jungle surrounded by water can burst into flames like it was hit with a microwave or laser burst, then 30 degree change is nothing.
I understand that your video content is construction related, this is not an interest to me. But I won't unsubscribe in case your content is something I would enjoy. You asked 😊
Your views are down maybe because those of us that watched your channel for the snow videos find the non-snow videos not to our liking. I rarely watch more than a few minutes since the snow stopped. It will pick up once it starts to snow again.
Sadie is mischievous. Loves to play in the mud and water. Thanks for posting the video. Love your content and love the Mammoth Area.

Greeting from the Philippnes! Looking much better at the June Lake project. Enjoy the show! 👍
Keep making them videos thanks for your time and effort
You’re doing nothing wrong it’s UA-cam algorithm content is stellar you’ve come a long ways and it’s awesome keep plugging away don’t get discouraged
Love seeing the spring water run out and away.
Thank you❤
I grew up in Southern Oregon, but live in Southern California. I also get excited when weather happens!

@@Michael_J_M14 Day Off DIY is a great channel, Michael!
Congratulations on cracking the 100,000 subscribers!!
I don't know what's funnier, Sadie and her snow rolls or finding the mud puddles.... hilarious!

Views: I think it was all the epic snow that was keeping us glued to the channel.
Micro Weather: got to love it.

I think you should of just built a small preppers castle out at June Lake with a moat around it with a draw bridge to keep the Zombies out
Still a couple months away but _really_ looking forward to the aspen groves to turn color.

Your channel is going to move be patient, be diligent, and above all believe
My bet is 25k parts and labor to replace that well pump..
wonder if that's close?
Turn your back on Sadie for 30 seconds and she finds that cool mud lol.

Is that beast of a beam at the shop going into a house?

Hello from the Norteast, interesting to see the runoff still flowing at that rate
Watch Pacific Northwest Weather Watch. He's talking about a possible Tropical storm/Hurricane coming up to California the 20th-25th.
not a true temperature reading. There is a cooling effect from evaporator cooling at the temperature measuring device. The air temp will be higher
13:29 That well pump must cost a fortune, it’s stainless steel and it’s so long! What’s it’s voltage and it’s amperage?
Well Ben, if an island jungle surrounded by water can burst into flames like it was hit with a microwave or laser burst, then 30 degree change is nothing.
Yep the world is changing fast right?

I suspect views are down because mostly people--like myself--are interested in the massive snow fall and consequences....summer content not as much
We just got hit with a hard shower an hour ago...
