No he hasn’t just because he wasn’t a captain doesn’t mean he’s not relevant. In S6 pt2 he was carrying Miyagi Do in the Sekai Teaki. And in s5 there was a whole arc of him going to Mexico and he beat Robby in that season too

Yes, they are hiding him on purpose because he will join Cobra Kai and will have a huge role in part 3, but at the same time sidelining him in the trailer is also frustrating.

I think making Miguel a secondary character temporarily is a logical decision, as it allows other characters to develop. At the same time, this approach also shows how expansive the film is. I believe that by the end of the film, Miguel will return to the main role.
And tbh they don't want to break your suspense that's why they showed him less 👍🏻
What film are you on about? The film has absolutely nothing to do with Miguel. It's set after the series and is about a completely new character.
We already know the writers favour Miguel, it’s been skewed from the start. There is simply not enough time to develop all the characters and then letting Miguel win.

He did "won" first season but writers wrote it as cheating when robby got injured by hawk on semis and miguel targeting the injuries. So that sucks. The first 4 movies are MUCH closer to the term masterpiece. Cobra Kai isn't bad, but it's a cheesy soap opera for dudes who haven't grown up. Karate Kid, Karate Kid II, Karate Kid III and The Next Karate Kid are vastly superior because they took themselves more seriously. Plus, Cobra Kai doesn't have Miyagi. He was vital to why we love this franchise in the first place.

And Miguel was still the MVP in Season 6 so far, he pretty much took the leader role in Season 6 for all main protagonists, the interpersonal story has been more of a focus regarding Robby and the other kids this specific season but that still does not change the fact that Miguel is the MC amongst the teen characters overall, he was the MC for 5 seasons straight, a few focus shift does not change that.
