WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING god I love the look of it the big white unicorn in the center and all the little flowers like little fireflies all around it ~
May I suggest that you work the ink on the glass a lot more (perhaps a minute) with your roller before applying to the lino. This will remove the uneven deposition of ink from the roller edges as seen at 1:10 and increase the evenness of ink coverage overall so reducing the need to reink while taking a print.
Thank you! But the ink roller gathered dried ink on the edge that I didn't properly clean off a long time ago, and it made the edges more stiff than the middle
Very impressive! I took print making in college for about four years and loved it but doing things like lithographs and metal etching just seemed way to costly. But lino cuts are perfect, and the fact that your doing it without a press, with those results, in that size!!👏👏👏💜
They're pieces of tape that I stuck to the back of the lino, and then I place matching pieces of tape onto the paper before I ink it to make sure the paper will be centered (:
Wow just amazing to see all that work, create a beautiful print so detailed. You are extremely talented and artistic. May I ask how long the lino cutting itself took? Looks extremely detailed. The end result is just beautiful.
I've been fascinated by old Japanese woodblock prints. Thought of giving carving my own but getting the right materials probably would be hard. Have you tried carving woodblocks? Wondering how it differs carving linoleum. The wood grain makes nice textures. Is that even a plus? Depends I guess. I like how clear your work is. Really nice work Callie.
Thank you so much! I've tried woodcarving butwhatevere I found at the art supplies store for carving wasn't right. It deteriorated so quickly after just a few prints, unfortunately. I think what I got was birch but I'm not sure
beautiful linocut....very nicely done...Bravo!
Thank you!

Thank you so much! It took about 120hrs total, about 90-100hours of carving I think
@@calliebarbasart Wow, that's a lot of work, patience and dedication. But it was completely worth the end result, well done again.
