I SUUUUPPPEERRR agree with the body blocking issue, especially if you are a laggy player. You litteraly TAP the other player and you start rolling like a gas station HOT-DOG. It has cost me so many finals and it just seemed like a bug at the start but now its like a whole new game mechanic. BTW: keep up the good work! Can't wait for SS4 videos soon 😃
Oh yeah for sure, body blocking needs to be adjusted. I don't mind body blocking but not when you lightly touch someone and roll on the floor for 2 minutes.
The bug that you mentioned was in Bean Hill Zone isn’t just in that map. It’s in every map that has the same song as Bean Hill Zone, specifically, Bounce Party and The Swiveller
Notes I wanna talk about as a switch player: When you qualify, instead of showing a vibrant glowing green, it shows a plain, dark one. I saw the gold bubble in Snowball Survival back in OCTOBER. The performance on the switch got better! The glowing effect on things like respawning hex-a-gones, LS4 obstacles, etc don’t have a strong effect. I’ve barely had any bodyblocks, which is old.

Wouldn't be shocked if the poor management and communication issues that mediatonic has internally stems from epic, though don't forget about mediatonic, they arent Saints the game had a lot of issues when they were with devolver. Legacy Season 2 was terrible, though Legacy Season 3 was decent from what I heard.

Amazing video!! Now that we are finishing SS3, I look back to SS2, and I see it wasnt that bad. It lasted for 2 months and a half, it had weekly live events, an awesome final event, and the vaulting wasnt that extreme, as it is in this current season.
Vaulting in the core modes were worse in SS2 then in SS3, especially since we got the SS2 variants and that was the SS2 variants. The time locked events were terrible, hate how it was in 2 of the SS3 events but in SS2 felt like every event was time locked. Challenges were round specific which made it so grindy, but the events were fun won't deny that I also preferred the maps in SS2 since they were ambitious and quite different, not a fan of Pixel Painters though. The Season being short is great, though you could make the argument that it's not enough time to finish the pass for most people, especially since it's 200 versus when it was 100. Also appreciate the love Jabirds
@@Izzytorium Yes, I agree in the fact that the core modes had less maps, but the other maps didn't disappear, because they were playeable in Limited Time Modes and also in Customs. I know that SS2 wasn't a good season, but i wouldn't mind to have another season like it that only lasts for 2 months and a half. Good points, I miss SS1 as well, that was the last season to have majority of the maps in the game, they did remove Leading Light near the end of SS1 cause of issues but SS2 was when vaulting was introduced and SS3 was when it was finalised.
Another bug I can think of this season even if its extremely trivial: when the season launched back in November, the tag that usually appears on the loading screen telling you what the round type is didn't appear for any Hunt rounds. So where something like Big Fans or Stompin' Ground were shown tagged as Race & Survival respectively, rounds like Airtime or Tail Tag were just blank and all it showed was the 'How to Play' guidelines. Not game breaking or anything and they did fix it early in the new year but just another bug I'd point out. In regards to your point at 23:57 with wushu studios & MT, MT are based in London which is around a 4 hour drive from Liverpool, so going to wushu physically for any reason is basically a whole work day used up and not really worth it.
Oh yeah, I remember that bug, jump Showdown had the survival tag even though it was the finale, it had the orange background and everything. Im guessing they'll only go to Wushu Studios once in a while but it's good that the studio is local to Mediatonic and not a foreign studio.
Let's hope so! I have a good feeling about SS4, the thing I've noticed with FG seasons is that they start out great even SS2 & SS3 then they come to a halt and get nothing for the entirety of the season, next season comes out and repeat.

Hell even I could come up with 5 LTM’s, actually I’ll do that right now 1: Slime Sliders: all maps with slide slimes (Speed Slider, Hoop Chute, Track Attack, Treetop, Party Promenade, Skyline Stumble, Puzzle Path, Blastlantis, Knight Fever, Hit Parade, Any final) 2: Mirror Mode: Flipped horizontally race maps not including finals 3: Krakens Stadium: 3 rounds of Kraken Slam back to back 4: Top Speed: Infinite speed boost for all rounds including finals 5: Spotlantis: Leading light spotlight on Blastlantis map, 3 rounds back to back any final And I know it’s cheating but I also have just one more 6: Sweet Showdown: Sweet thieves, but every round the winning team loses members, 2 Thieves will be lost per win, 1 Guardian will be lost per win. The people who are lost actually win the game but with less crown shards, increasing for every round that passes That was really easy
The only round that has dive sliding not working is Knight Fever (vaulted), because the slope is too steep and it makes you bounce and ragdoll because of the momentum. Another thing is that there is an unpatched glitch that makes the game not remember the skin you selected, like the emote glitch. And speaking of emote glitches, on switch there’s a glitch that makes the game play the wrong animation when other people emote. One more thing is that I got the flickering glitch on Tundra Run last month. It was just a white screen and didn’t flash this time. I think just like the low-gravity, the snow causes issues on the switch too. The texture downgrades are glitches I think. If Mediatonic want to make switch performance better, they have to downgrade or remove snow, low-gravity, electric force fields, water and slime animations, because they cause most of the issues.
Dawg even the snow? let's hope it doesn't make it to the final release, I never heard of that map having flickering issues. Let's hope the visual downgrades are a bug, I didn't hear people saying the downgrades improved the performance.
There’s also the bug where in finals if you get eliminated and try to exit out of the show right before the winner is determined, the game will hang up for a little while and fail to communicate with the server. If all you’re wanting to do is grind out your dailies and this was the last show you needed for them, this bug is incredibly irritating to get. Also, for long time players, I think we need the ability to save outfit combinations. I have a ton of customization pieces but I barely change costume because it’s become such a time consuming process to scroll through my collection, ESPECIALLY when there’s a costume piece I’m looking for but I don’t remember what it’s name in-game is.
I had it happened to me a few times and wanted to mention it but wasn't sure if it was one or not, definitely annoying. I just forgot to mention it lol
What I don't understand is the LTM's. Modes like hex-a-ring and lily leapers have been in the game the whole time, yet their LTM's have only appeared once!
We do have hex a thon which has hex a Ring but no LTM's that include Lily Leapers. But yeah no dedicated LTM for hex a Ring. I think it's probably cause of 360 diving that Lily Leapers Limbo isn't a thing, since PC players have an inhert advantage over console players especially since its always Lily Leapers Finale.
Yup, I didn't know either till I was researching for this video, was on reddit collecting info and saw someone comment that it was being outsourced to Wushu Studios, they oddly enough have experience with Unreal which is a game engine and Fall Guys is made with Unity, so that's interesting.
I have 200+ hours of fall guys on Switch as it’s my only console and 294 crowns, for a moment at the beginning of the match my golden witch bottom WONT LOAD UNTIL HALFWAY THROUGH THE MAP. I was mad and I still am and I hope they fix it soon.
I thought they fixed the skin loading issue with the 9.0.0. patch? or when SS3 came out? Idk if I'm misremembering it or not but in SS2 the skins wouldn't load at all on the switch.
As I said once before, I used to play Fall Guys A LOT. And I mean A LOT. But, I stopped playing Fall Guys for about whole last April. I stopped playing for ONE WHOLE MONTH. The reason I stopped playing is because the LTMs and the rounds were repetitive, and the shop was just reusing old costumes they were selling before. I am excited for Season 4, and I will start playing Fall Guys A Lot more.

there is a bug that hasnt been mentioned, in bean hill zone, the fall feed doesnt work even if it's on, it wont tell you who qualified in the fall feed.

in the switch version of fall guys, if you turned off the switch without closing fall guys, when you turned it on again it would make the switch freeze and you would have to wait for the battery to run out. I know some friends who had the same thing happen to them and it still hasn't been fixed

@@Izzytorium i play on the switch as well! this definitely has been an issue for me on several occasions, so i've just gotten in the habit of closing FG if i plan on doing something else for a bit. i don't usually have to wait for the battery to run out, though- forcibly shutting it down/restarting with the power button seems to do the trick usually. but for a while, the switch version would also freeze whenever i tried to open the shop or season pass/crown rank progress pages. i think it's been patched, but whenever it froze i would have to completely close down and reopen FG.
Also there's the mf ps5 trophy glitch that keeps me from Platinum However it can be good because i randomly got INFALLIBLE in the LOBBY AFK FOR +10 MINUTES LMAO
I hope Mediatonic also plans to listen to the players that play a lot of vault customs (like me) if we expereince any issues with the maps. they did vault maps because of bugs (from there perspective), so how about asking us if the maps are fine to add in the rotation (this can be done through the weekly vibe checks). so technically we are guinea pigs but not really. it’s just so painful to get a vaulted map that works completely fine.
Many say that surely in SS4 they will fix some problems that are currently in the game, but in my opinion unfortunately, knowing Mediatonic, is that the real reason why the next season is delayed so much is only to FOCUS ON THE CREATIVE getting out as much as polishing possible.
I have a feeling people are going to love creative for a few weeks then once the honeymoon phase is over just not play it, unless they can update regularly, but would love to be wrong. Either way I'm still slightly hopeful that SS4 will be good. Most seasons start out well but end up being bad due to lack of updates or should I say meaningful updates.
What the game spams in squads and duos is stomping ground in round 2 and the 4 boring S1 round 1 maps, and that's the only maps that kept appearing over and over again but every time there will be maps which will be spammed in one or a few days
On switch, creating too many levels trying to CLICK the load button crashes the game. You cant even see your levels so either finish in one sitting or lose it all. It's still apparent today
One bug that was annoying was when I was getting 4 weeklys and all my friends I played with were getting their normal 7 weeklys. This was going on for about a month I believe before they fixed it recently

They just don't feel like testing the maps is the message I am getting. Their recent plans for abandoning seasons hopefully indicate that they are rounding all of the maps out. They shouldn't be afraid of their own ability to fix bugs.
Yeah they basically dump them in the vault and work on other things, with creative mode now being out let's hope they can work on the vaulted maps and dedicate a little bit of time towards fixing the bugs.
One of my biggest problems on switch is that I can no longer screen record in game. They put out a message saying that this was to "improve performance". It didn't really improve anything and I feel like it was just so I can no longer record the shenanigans and seizure inducing things that happen on switch port. - btw I only play on switch so I have no comparison
The game could barley run on the switch without recording much less run while recording. I do kinda understand where you're coming from but I'd imagine the games FPS would tank if you were able to record, don't think you can record while playing Fortnite on the switch iirc and that's probably way more optimised then the switch.

Yeah I don't play fortnite as well just something I remembered. They probably removed it for another reason, it probably was causing bugs or would cause crashing or something like that, that's just my theory on the matter. I believe they removed recording in SS2 iirc, that season was just poorly optimised for the switch. I hope they can improve the performance of the game as well.
As a new Fall Guys player it's frustrating to watch Fall Guys videos from months ago and see so many fun map variations or entire maps that aren't in the game anymore, I've playing the game for 2 months and nowadays I just play to complete the daily missions cuz I keep getting the same maps over and over again

Some people have commented that the downgrades at 18:47 could be a bug and not intentional but we'll have to see if they fix it in SS4 otherwise it may be intentional. Yeah I never noticed how much details the level had until they were gone especially in big fans. Sucks how the visual downgrades didn't even improve anything, makes it feel even more worthless imo.

Something I don’t understand is how we could remake vaulted rounds in creative, and they would not have glitches (if they don’t mess it up). There would not be any reason to keep vaulting if that’s the case.

I've always thought that was weird that they were so stringent on giving shards or crowns at times but at others they are like here have 40 some crowns in the season pass and here's crown shard challenges where you get more crowns oh wait... no you actually don't because they removed the bonus weekly shards and a few of the other challenges. I don't get it. Absolutely no one is going to be upset if it becomes easier to get crowns.
I'm sure there will be some guy who's mad that crowns are worthless now that it's easy to get and they "devalued" it or whatever but now that you can't even buy anything with it I don't see the point in giving out so little of them, guess they don't want people blitzing through the game and the crown ranks since that's what keeps people playing the game I suppose.

If they are so concerned about keeping people playing I can name 100 things they messed up on same as you lol. Regarding the crowns specifically though so little of the playerbase has reached cr 54 as it is. While cr is an incentive for some most people play pretty casually. Solo show just makes it look otherwise.
That is true, I think MT knows most people play it super casually so they aren't pressed to making any meaningful changes to progression which is kinda unfortunate. Also most people don't even finish the season pass so theirs that. I don't see them changing any thing in terms of pricing as that's set in stone, just hope they release more cheaper stuff like uncommon rarity items are decently priced. Hope they consider lowering the price for celebrations cause 1K is way too much for something most people will skip, or just include it in bundles.
When comparing from SS2 which had 22 them putting 42 maps is an improvement for sure. Only reason why SS2 had such a limited round pool is that it only featured maps with SS2 variations which wasn't a lot. Still doesn't take away from the points I mentioned in the video, Season 9 or SS3 was just not good.
Id rather mediatonic not updating the game so that they work on getting our vaulted maps back. Also, bean hill zone wasnt only vaulted for that, it was also vaulted for rings not spawning. I was playing the sonic event and when the round started, no rings spawned. They should also bring back video captures for switch.
The rings never spawned? Like in SS3, cause the sonic event was in SS1, never heard anyone say that before. Video capturing was really affecting gameplay, I doubt they'll bring it back. I think fortnite on switch doesn't have it either.
Actually, Bean Hill Zone's music works if you turn off the "Special Spectator Music" option in the settings. I guess they broke the filter they add on top of the music, and it broke the music? Mediatonic moment.
The music also doesn't work in The Swiveller and Bounce Party apparently, all 3 are hunt rounds. That's a nice workaround though it doesn't bother me too much plus I like the special spectator music, never disabled it in the 2 years I've played this game and don't wanna start now lol.
A realy good LTM idea is a show called Slide Tournament which contains only maps with Slime/Ice on it That's not vaulted but i also think they could add somethhing Silmple Like Kraken slam Trials cuz i'm sick of the same LTMS EVERY SINGLE TIME
Kraken Slam does have a survival type, so it's possible to do 3 rounds of it. Wouldn't be surprised if they add one next season, but wish they did during the season it was released in.
I used to play the game in low but in SS3 I cranked it up to the max so I never noticed reflections and stuff like that. That's interesting and kinda sad, they probably have to downgrade some visuals for lower end hardware.

Anyway it was a Reddit post asking how to make the game less blurry or something like that and it showed door dash, with the ground almost looking like a mirror from all angles, and reflecting a forward sign. Someone replied saying to turn bloom off and saying keep reflections on because they are cool or something like that but I can’t find the post. Saw it a week ago and it was from 2020 I believe.
As someone who joined in ss2, I thought the new season would be exciting with new opportunities. But there is nothing new anymore. I cannot wait for this upgrade. IF IT HAPPENS.
SS3 felt like filler for SS4 in my opinion. Hoping SS4 will be good. Fall Guy Seasons start out great but come to a grinding halt and just fizzle out towards the end.
Apparently, you _can't_ get jinxed as a finale in duo's however you can get it as a non-finale, so that's why it's 42 in duo's, the game counts jinxed _twice_ if that makes any sense. However, in squads you can get it as a finale and as a non-finale.
About what you said for the bug in speed slider that lets you respawn in extreme show, I have found out that the same is true for lily leapers. So it's not just speed slider getting affected, which is kind of sad that it's gotten away for more than one map.
In paper it looks great, we'll have to wait and see how it plays out when it releases on the 10th of may. I find it GENUINELY baffling how you can make a whole 30 minute retrospective on how truly awful one 5 month period of this game has been. SS4 while playing it I'm not sure if it'll somehow top how bad this season was, but MAN is it interesting. Can't wait to see you cover it but take your time with that since I feel like SS4 just covered the crap that's needed fixing for 3 seasons and just- covered it with more slop. I feel like they heard all the complaints about vaulting, and decided instead of streamlining a system to try to unvault maps quickly they would just try to completely uptick the development of maps since they have creative mode now. Which is fair enough, I'm not a game designer, director, and can't know where they're trying to get the game and if focusing on unvaulting will harm that, but it's still disappointing. The new maps to me in terms of gameplay go from boring to actually pretty great, which I can deal with. 50 maps in ONE season is incredible and revolutionary, even if only 20 or so of those maps will be truly great. One thing I also like about this choice is releasing them throughout the season, I remember when during mid season updates one or two new maps would come out + a ton of variations which in my opinion is on par with this new system. My main problem with creative is that simply enough, these maps just look ugly. I've seen great maps be made by the community which use some of the decorative items, but they definitely need more. A lot of the maps look simply like they're floating in the sky and look like roblox maps. Things like barriers and pillars can help with this a LOT and that really changes the okay maps from the great ones, but I do hope they even implement some completely new decorative items and blocks (like in the S1 theme, adding new colours to the main blocks or even giving them patterns), It would also help a lot if you had an option for the death box to be slime, I feel like that could make more maps feel grounded in reality. In theory, they could 100% advance this feature well enough to where you can't tell much of a difference between S1-SS3 maps and these, but I feel like that will take so long to truly do. If they end up making EVERY map for the entire future of the game made in this feature, that would really be my personal breaking point, because they just can't compare at this point. I wrote an essay here but really my personal thoughts on SS4 are that with time it'll tell
I had a lot to say about SS3 haha, I do think with time creative mode could be great it's just in its infancy right now, but the complaints are valid nontheless. The digital theme maps just feel too samey after a while, they don't look the best in terms of aesthetic. It being race maps doesn't help it feeling samey either. Right now I haven't played a ton of the creative made maps to form a concrete opinon, been busy making this video for the past few days.

I remember having a bit of a chat with Muffins about the tweet at 19:54, and I came to the conclusion that this doesn't add up to me for two reasons: 1. What would Epic limit MT from saying, and why? It doesn't feel like Epic would do something like this, especially with how much communication they give towards Fortnite. 2. The fact that Psyonix apparently has way better communication (than MT), despite Rocket League being bought by Epic.
That's interesting, I wonder if it's not epic but the higher ups at Mediatonic? Oliver's tweet does make sense but that doesn't mean they can't improve there communication and do more of it imo.

I play with fairly low audio so didn't notice until recently, but a bugs a bug and they gotta fix that asap. This also happens in the Swiveller and Bounce Party as well.
You can die in speed slider x, you have to go on the big sign at the end, go up a bit, then jump off into the water, and THEN you die. No idea why this is a thing.

26:00 i watch smm2 content and i know that there are kaizo levels (those that are hard and require TONS of skill to beat) and then there are little timmy levels (the ones that spam enemies and obstacles and most likely have a dev exit), little timmy levels are hot garbage. So hopefully the REALLY difficult levels are kaizos and not any hot garbage.
I was talking about the lil timmy lvls and not the kaizo ones. I've seen those Mario maker videos where they have obstacles covering the screen and have a 1% win rate.

SS4 was supposed to have a marathon challenge, think the reward was Digi herself! I remember seeing a YT video of someone getting to play creative early and it showed the marathon tab. We need something like that in the game that rewards loyalty.

I agree with the body blocking, on hoop chute I lowkey ragdolled for ten seconds (twice) in different games. I don't know what happened I just kept rolling and rolling
From this season you can kinda see them take players feedback, like adding celebration previews, fixing the challenges and making them less grindy but when it comes to the big stuff they seem to struggle at, won't say they do everything players say of course but they kinda do listen, they just don't let us know that.

I've taught everything I currently know, I can't do 360 dives so it be pointless in Remaking it. In order to 360 dive you need 150+ FPS and 300 FPS to do it really fast, I can't get 150 FPS Unfortunately. Though some people have said they can _kinda_ do 360 dives on console which is capped at 60 FPS and switch is capped to 30 but I've had no luck. If mediatonic allows everyone to do 360 or a nerfed version then I'll update the guide but for now, no point in doing so.
Season 3 is the only reason why i got better at the game because i didnt play for fun anymore, since the game wasn't fun so i was trying new ways to have fun
People have commented that as well, seems like the spectator version of the music has been deleted or disabled. If you disable special spectator music it fixes the problem.

@athanasios kosmas At this point there in too deep, plus the switch port makes them a boat load of money, just improve the performance of the switch port and fix the game breaking bugs. Most people who play on the switch probably only own the switch, removing it would only make the situation with the game worse.
At one point I even stopped playing the LTM's cause of how samey they got 🤣 will say if one of the LTM's that kept on repeating is your favourite I'm sure you didn't mind it popping up over and over again
Omgggggg! YOU REMINDER ME ABOUT THAT SWITCH BUG. BASICALLY in leading light on switch sometimes if you were in the zone you wouldn't ge any points the only way to get points wa for half of your body be out and the other half in the zone.
Great video mate 👌 to me one of the biggest issue is definitely the bodyblocking and ragdoll, i agree it should be part of the game but when like me you have a bad ping AND you play on console every rounds is a nightmare. Pc players are just brick walls at this point. Also about the FPS part, i think fall guys should set the FPS to 60 for everyone, pc player got such a massive advantage to console players in so many cases ! Keep up the good work ❤
I don't think setting the FPS to 60 for everyone is a good idea, not this late into Fall Guys, people would be steaming mad I talked about ways they could make the game more fair in my "Why You Can't Speedrun Lily Leapers" video and they definitely can do some things to fix the issue without setting the FPS to 60, but I do hope they figure out a fix, it's probably why Lily Leapers Limbo hasn't made an appearance especially since the finale is Lily Leapers and PC players can just dominate and win almost every game in 25 seconds.

Yeah we've had one good season since the game went F2p it's about time we had another one, hoping SS4 will break the streak. Seasons start out great but they come to a halt near the mid point and fizzle out at the end.

For your first point it's funny caues I said the same thing in my "Why Vaulting Is Killing Fall Guys video, they should rotate the maps in and out of the vault on a bi weekly basis. Sadly they said that seasons are going to be on the long side so probably 4 months is how long they are going to be but that's not confirmed in any way just my theory. That's great to hear, guinelely. Yeah once the honeymoon phase passed it became clear that the vault show wasn't that great, glad it exists but it should've been an LTM but I know why it isn't one.
Sorry if this comment is going to be incredibly long but I just wanted to point some things to get off my chest. Yeah, I've been so bored and very frustrated with this season for a while now. - The levels in SS3 look bland and boring. I wonder what the designs of each levels of those would look like if we didn't have this Switch problem. There definitely has to be more hidden details. Speed Slider for me looks so bland, empty and very unappealing (same for Hoop Chute)! The gameplay of it is fine but it's kinda just boring. - Airtime is SEMI-VAULTED! It is currently in solo but I remember playing Airtime in Squads Show once in SS1! I just think more Airtime in Duos and Squads would be actually interesting. - Yeah, Squads do have more maps but it's constant Stompin' Ground round 2! - Also in Squads, if you're starting within 30-39 players, it will ALWAYS start you with Puzzle Path only and it takes so long because people still don't know how to play it after 6 months. Why can't the game also pick Slimb Climb as a starting round if it's going to be that many players? - Blast Ball this season has been really broken and buggy! Have you seen bushy's clip? The blast balls were actually glowing which could cause serious epilepsy! They flash red but they aren't supposed to glow. Not only that, they also sometimes blast you before the blast animation occurs. They are not sinced. - Even if we've gotten the same LTMs, people do seem to complain about the ones we didn't have for a while anyways, such as Lily Leapers Limbo(which I get), and Pixel Palooza. I wouldn't mind getting those again because we just need more variety. Heck, where is Fall Ball Cup Squads version or Ring Hex-A-Thon? I'm talking about LTMs that don't have vaulted rounds! - I think you forget about The Slimescraper in customs. It now has a qualification limit rather than having everyone getting a chance to qualify. Why? It's meant to be the young sister of Slimb Climb and now it feels ruined! - Just because Roll On is a Season 4 round doesn't mean it should play the Falling Stars song. It's a Season 1 theme looking map and should've stuck to Fall N' Roll. There's more to this list but I think I'm gonna stop here for now...
I love stompin grounds so I don't mind that personally, I legit didn't know the put a qualification limit on Slimescraper I don't play customs myself and I didn't see anyone mention that till now. I usually qualify fast on it so I'm not worried about making it but slime climb doesn't one so why does it have one? That's crazy to me, maybe when I play it again I'll have more of an informed opinon. I usually have my music volume set fairly low so the music change is news to me. I play on switch, and the visual downgrades on the Doritos and stuff like that didn't change performance much at all, at least if it did its not noticeable.
Debatable, SS3 was terrible at least with SS4 were getting content and consistent updates. However I do think their pushing the whole Co-op creator made maps thing a little too hard, but in terms of quality of life updates SS4 is great, made a whole 1 hour vid on it. Don't get me wrong there are quite a few things I don't like about SS4, but I definitely think SS3 is the worst season we had, no updates and huge content drought absolutely cemented that season as the worst.

@@Izzytorium I noticed it when the ability to select multiple shows at once was removed. The issue you discussed about the event shows in this video is even worse, Main Show (and from others’ posts Squads and Duos as well but I haven’t played those myself this season) feels like they pick like like ten rounds on Tuesday and you have to wait until the following Tuesday for any hope of deviation from those ten. And a good chunk of the new shows this season are literally just a single round long, which is extremely repetitive. Not to mention the custom rounds they decide to showcase are either mind-numbingly easy or “make one mistake and you’re screwed”.
The skill based match making is really bugged because i literally haven't played the game in years but the minute i join i get placed with absolute pros

On switch on party promenade you can just randomly die for no reason also on switch bad things only happen on handheld mode and most players dong do that
Like round 1 Party Promenade? Or if you get it later in the game? I remember dying randomly in Pipe Dream back in SS2 and sent the clip to support and they thought I died in the previous round but I was so desynced from the server it didn't register my death till I got to Pipe Dream.
And also, the Hatsune Miku collab RUINED SS2 for like, 2 and a half weeks, there was 11 maps in rotation when the event was live, and also Stompin Ground Standoff giving 10 shards? It's practically impossible to win the mode.
I forgot that 11 maps were in rotation during that event, I talked about it a little more in my SS2 video, since this was a video about SS3 I didn't mention it much.
Will say, there starting to unvault more unity made maps then their vaulting and as of 10.4 Update all the unity made finales are in the game. Seems like we'll be getting updates every month or so which is better then what we'd been receiving before. Won't say the creative maps in solo's are great, and that I agree with moving away from unity but I do think the game is steadily making strides in the right direction.

I SUUUUPPPEERRR agree with the body blocking issue, especially if you are a laggy player. You litteraly TAP the other player and you start rolling like a gas station HOT-DOG. It has cost me so many finals and it just seemed like a bug at the start but now its like a whole new game mechanic. BTW: keep up the good work! Can't wait for SS4 videos soon 😃
Oh yeah for sure, body blocking needs to be adjusted. I don't mind body blocking but not when you lightly touch someone and roll on the floor for 2 minutes.

The bug that you mentioned was in Bean Hill Zone isn’t just in that map. It’s in every map that has the same song as Bean Hill Zone, specifically, Bounce Party and The Swiveller

When you qualify, instead of showing a vibrant glowing green, it shows a plain, dark one.
I saw the gold bubble in Snowball Survival back in OCTOBER.
The performance on the switch got better!
The glowing effect on things like respawning hex-a-gones, LS4 obstacles, etc don’t have a strong effect.
I’ve barely had any bodyblocks, which is old.

Amazing video!! Now that we are finishing SS3, I look back to SS2, and I see it wasnt that bad. It lasted for 2 months and a half, it had weekly live events, an awesome final event, and the vaulting wasnt that extreme, as it is in this current season.
Vaulting in the core modes were worse in SS2 then in SS3, especially since we got the SS2 variants and that was the SS2 variants. The time locked events were terrible, hate how it was in 2 of the SS3 events but in SS2 felt like every event was time locked. Challenges were round specific which made it so grindy, but the events were fun won't deny that I also preferred the maps in SS2 since they were ambitious and quite different, not a fan of Pixel Painters though. The Season being short is great, though you could make the argument that it's not enough time to finish the pass for most people, especially since it's 200 versus when it was 100. Also appreciate the love Jabirds
@@Izzytorium Yes, I agree in the fact that the core modes had less maps, but the other maps didn't disappear, because they were playeable in Limited Time Modes and also in Customs. I know that SS2 wasn't a good season, but i wouldn't mind to have another season like it that only lasts for 2 months and a half. But I miss SS1 a lot, it was the best season in my opinion :(

Good points, I miss SS1 as well, that was the last season to have majority of the maps in the game, they did remove Leading Light near the end of SS1 cause of issues but SS2 was when vaulting was introduced and SS3 was when it was finalised.

Another bug I can think of this season even if its extremely trivial: when the season launched back in November, the tag that usually appears on the loading screen telling you what the round type is didn't appear for any Hunt rounds. So where something like Big Fans or Stompin' Ground were shown tagged as Race & Survival respectively, rounds like Airtime or Tail Tag were just blank and all it showed was the 'How to Play' guidelines. Not game breaking or anything and they did fix it early in the new year but just another bug I'd point out.
In regards to your point at 23:57 with wushu studios & MT, MT are based in London which is around a 4 hour drive from Liverpool, so going to wushu physically for any reason is basically a whole work day used up and not really worth it.
Oh yeah, I remember that bug, jump Showdown had the survival tag even though it was the finale, it had the orange background and everything. Im guessing they'll only go to Wushu Studios once in a while but it's good that the studio is local to Mediatonic and not a foreign studio.

2: Mirror Mode: Flipped horizontally race maps not including finals
3: Krakens Stadium: 3 rounds of Kraken Slam back to back
4: Top Speed: Infinite speed boost for all rounds including finals
5: Spotlantis: Leading light spotlight on Blastlantis map, 3 rounds back to back any final
And I know it’s cheating but I also have just one more
6: Sweet Showdown: Sweet thieves, but every round the winning team loses members, 2 Thieves will be lost per win, 1 Guardian will be lost per win. The people who are lost actually win the game but with less crown shards, increasing for every round that passes

I've been playing a ton of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe lately and mirror mode in FG is genius. Top Speed, Mirror Mode are my favourite ideas you've mentioned.
The only round that has dive sliding not working is Knight Fever (vaulted), because the slope is too steep and it makes you bounce and ragdoll because of the momentum.
Another thing is that there is an unpatched glitch that makes the game not remember the skin you selected, like the emote glitch. And speaking of emote glitches, on switch there’s a glitch that makes the game play the wrong animation when other people emote.
One more thing is that I got the flickering glitch on Tundra Run last month. It was just a white screen and didn’t flash this time. I think just like the low-gravity, the snow causes issues on the switch too.
The texture downgrades are glitches I think. If Mediatonic want to make switch performance better, they have to downgrade or remove snow, low-gravity, electric force fields, water and slime animations, because they cause most of the issues.
Dawg even the snow? let's hope it doesn't make it to the final release, I never heard of that map having flickering issues. Let's hope the visual downgrades are a bug, I didn't hear people saying the downgrades improved the performance.
There’s also the bug where in finals if you get eliminated and try to exit out of the show right before the winner is determined, the game will hang up for a little while and fail to communicate with the server. If all you’re wanting to do is grind out your dailies and this was the last show you needed for them, this bug is incredibly irritating to get.
Also, for long time players, I think we need the ability to save outfit combinations. I have a ton of customization pieces but I barely change costume because it’s become such a time consuming process to scroll through my collection, ESPECIALLY when there’s a costume piece I’m looking for but I don’t remember what it’s name in-game is.
I had it happened to me a few times and wanted to mention it but wasn't sure if it was one or not, definitely annoying. I just forgot to mention it lol

What I don't understand is the LTM's. Modes like hex-a-ring and lily leapers have been in the game the whole time, yet their LTM's have only appeared once!
We do have hex a thon which has hex a Ring but no LTM's that include Lily Leapers. But yeah no dedicated LTM for hex a Ring. I think it's probably cause of 360 diving that Lily Leapers Limbo isn't a thing, since PC players have an inhert advantage over console players especially since its always Lily Leapers Finale.

Yup, I didn't know either till I was researching for this video, was on reddit collecting info and saw someone comment that it was being outsourced to Wushu Studios, they oddly enough have experience with Unreal which is a game engine and Fall Guys is made with Unity, so that's interesting.
I have 200+ hours of fall guys on Switch as it’s my only console and 294 crowns, for a moment at the beginning of the match my golden witch bottom WONT LOAD UNTIL HALFWAY THROUGH THE MAP. I was mad and I still am and I hope they fix it soon.
I thought they fixed the skin loading issue with the 9.0.0. patch? or when SS3 came out? Idk if I'm misremembering it or not but in SS2 the skins wouldn't load at all on the switch.

As I said once before, I used to play Fall Guys A LOT. And I mean A LOT. But, I stopped playing Fall Guys for about whole last April. I stopped playing for ONE WHOLE MONTH. The reason I stopped playing is because the LTMs and the rounds were repetitive, and the shop was just reusing old costumes they were selling before. I am excited for Season 4, and I will start playing Fall Guys A Lot more.
Don't blame you for that. I stopped playing daily back in march and would play like once or twice a week. Nowadays I play like a few times a week but not daily like I used to.

there is a bug that hasnt been mentioned, in bean hill zone, the fall feed doesnt work even if it's on, it wont tell you who qualified in the fall feed.
I thought it was odd it didn't show my name on the Fall feed when I qualified, didn't notice it didn't show anyones name.

in the switch version of fall guys, if you turned off the switch without closing fall guys, when you turned it on again it would make the switch freeze and you would have to wait for the battery to run out. I know some friends who had the same thing happen to them and it still hasn't been fixed

@@Izzytorium i play on the switch as well! this definitely has been an issue for me on several occasions, so i've just gotten in the habit of closing FG if i plan on doing something else for a bit. i don't usually have to wait for the battery to run out, though- forcibly shutting it down/restarting with the power button seems to do the trick usually.
but for a while, the switch version would also freeze whenever i tried to open the shop or season pass/crown rank progress pages. i think it's been patched, but whenever it froze i would have to completely close down and reopen FG.
Also there's the mf ps5 trophy glitch that keeps me from Platinum

I hope Mediatonic also plans to listen to the players that play a lot of vault customs (like me) if we expereince any issues with the maps. they did vault maps because of bugs (from there perspective), so how about asking us if the maps are fine to add in the rotation (this can be done through the weekly vibe checks). so technically we are guinea pigs but not really. it’s just so painful to get a vaulted map that works completely fine.
I hope they advertise surveys in game kinda like how fortnite does it, would make it a lot more fair.
Many say that surely in SS4 they will fix some problems that are currently in the game, but in my opinion unfortunately, knowing Mediatonic, is that the real reason why the next season is delayed so much is only to FOCUS ON THE CREATIVE getting out as much as polishing possible.
I have a feeling people are going to love creative for a few weeks then once the honeymoon phase is over just not play it, unless they can update regularly, but would love to be wrong. What the game spams in squads and duos is stomping ground in round 2 and the 4 boring S1 round 1 maps, and that's the only maps that kept appearing over and over again but every time there will be maps which will be spammed in one or a few days

On switch, creating too many levels trying to CLICK the load button crashes the game. You cant even see your levels so either finish in one sitting or lose it all. It's still apparent today

One bug that was annoying was when I was getting 4 weeklys and all my friends I played with were getting their normal 7 weeklys. This was going on for about a month I believe before they fixed it recently

They just don't feel like testing the maps is the message I am getting. Their recent plans for abandoning seasons hopefully indicate that they are rounding all of the maps out. They shouldn't be afraid of their own ability to fix bugs.
Yeah they basically dump them in the vault and work on other things, with creative mode now being out let's hope they can work on the vaulted maps and dedicate a little bit of time towards fixing the bugs.
One of my biggest problems on switch is that I can no longer screen record in game. They put out a message saying that this was to "improve performance". The game could barley run on the switch without recording much less run while recording. I do kinda understand where you're coming from but I'd imagine the games FPS would tank if you were able to record, don't think you can record while playing Fortnite on the switch iirc and that's probably way more optimised then the switch.

But I do have some old clips of the game recorded on switch system and I don't remember personally having much frame rate issues with it. It's a really complicated topic I'm sure, I just hope they can improve the game in ss4.
Yeah I don't play fortnite as well just something I remembered. They probably removed it for another reason, it probably was causing bugs or would cause crashing or something like that, that's just my theory on the matter. I believe they removed recording in SS2 iirc, that season was just poorly optimised for the switch. I hope they can improve the performance of the game as well.
As a new Fall Guys player it's frustrating to watch Fall Guys videos from months ago and see so many fun map variations or entire maps that aren't in the game anymore, I've playing the game for 2 months and nowadays I just play to complete the daily missions cuz I keep getting the same maps over and over again
I feel bad for you I guinelely do, the map rotations are just so bad nowadays, especially if you only play solo's. I don't blame you for doing dailies and dipping.

i haven't been active on fall guys much but when i played for the first time in a while the other day, i noticed what you mentioned at 18:47 but i assumed it was just on switch. kinda weird that they implemented that across all platforms. and to answer the question at 19:22, nope, no improvements in performance at all lmao. small details but they really add character to the levels imo
Some people have commented that the downgrades at 18:47 could be a bug and not intentional but we'll have to see if they fix it in SS4 otherwise it may be intentional. Yeah I never noticed how much details the level had until they were gone especially in big fans. Sucks how the visual downgrades didn't even improve anything, makes it feel even more worthless imo.

Basically, you click on the green nvidia logo, or the third icon from the left and it'll say restore current profile to nvidia default which will get rid of it, make sure you click apply changes once you've clicked on the green nvidia logo.

Something I don’t understand is how we could remake vaulted rounds in creative, and they would not have glitches (if they don’t mess it up). There would not be any reason to keep vaulting if that’s the case.

I've always thought that was weird that they were so stringent on giving shards or crowns at times but at others they are like here have 40 some crowns in the season pass and here's crown shard challenges where you get more crowns oh wait... no you actually don't because they removed the bonus weekly shards and a few of the other challenges. I don't get it. Absolutely no one is going to be upset if it becomes easier to get crowns.
I'm sure there will be some guy who's mad that crowns are worthless now that it's easy to get and they "devalued" it or whatever but now that you can't even buy anything with it I don't see the point in giving out so little of them, guess they don't want people blitzing through the game and the crown ranks since that's what keeps people playing the game I suppose.

If they are so concerned about keeping people playing I can name 100 things they messed up on same as you lol. Regarding the crowns specifically though so little of the playerbase has reached cr 54 as it is. While cr is an incentive for some most people play pretty casually. Solo show just makes it look otherwise.
That is true, I think MT knows most people play it super casually so they aren't pressed to making any meaningful changes to progression which is kinda unfortunate. Also most people don't even finish the season pass so theirs that. I don't see them changing any thing in terms of pricing as that's set in stone, just hope they release more cheaper stuff like uncommon rarity items are decently priced. Hope they consider lowering the price for celebrations cause 1K is way too much for something most people will skip, or just include it in bundles.

When comparing from SS2 which had 22 them putting 42 maps is an improvement for sure. Only reason why SS2 had such a limited round pool is that it only featured maps with SS2 variations which wasn't a lot. Still doesn't take away from the points I mentioned in the video, Season 9 or SS3 was just not good.

Also, bean hill zone wasnt only vaulted for that, it was also vaulted for rings not spawning. I was playing the sonic event and when the round started, no rings spawned. They should also bring back video captures for switch.
The rings never spawned? Like in SS3, cause the sonic event was in SS1, never heard anyone say that before. Video capturing was really affecting gameplay, I doubt they'll bring it back. I think fortnite on switch doesn't have it either.
Actually, Bean Hill Zone's music works if you turn off the "Special Spectator Music" option in the settings. I guess they broke the filter they add on top of the music, and it broke the music? Mediatonic moment.
The music also doesn't work in The Swiveller and Bounce Party apparently, all 3 are hunt rounds. That's a nice workaround though it doesn't bother me too much plus I like the special spectator music, never disabled it in the 2 years I've played this game and don't wanna start now lol.
A realy good LTM idea is a show called Slide Tournament which contains only maps with Slime/Ice on it That's not vaulted but i also think they could add somethhing Silmple Like Kraken slam Trials cuz i'm sick of the same LTMS EVERY SINGLE TIME
Kraken Slam does have a survival type, so it's possible to do 3 rounds of it. Wouldn't be surprised if they add one next season, but wish they did during the season it was released in.

One thing I noticed is the lack of reflections nowadays. Even on ultra, the reflections are toned down by probably 1000% compared to old gameplay
I used to play the game in low but in SS3 I cranked it up to the max so I never noticed reflections and stuff like that. That's interesting and kinda sad, they probably have to downgrade some visuals for lower end hardware.

SS3 felt like filler for SS4 in my opinion. Hoping SS4 will be good. Fall Guy Seasons start out great but come to a grinding halt and just fizzle out towards the end.

About what you said for the bug in speed slider that lets you respawn in extreme show, I have found out that the same is true for lily leapers. So it's not just speed slider getting affected, which is kind of sad that it's gotten away for more than one map.

I find it GENUINELY baffling how you can make a whole 30 minute retrospective on how truly awful one 5 month period of this game has been. SS4 while playing it I'm not sure if it'll somehow top how bad this season was, but MAN is it interesting. Can't wait to see you cover it but take your time with that since I feel like SS4 just covered the crap that's needed fixing for 3 seasons and just- covered it with more slop.
I feel like they heard all the complaints about vaulting, and decided instead of streamlining a system to try to unvault maps quickly they would just try to completely uptick the development of maps since they have creative mode now. Which is fair enough, I'm not a game designer, director, and can't know where they're trying to get the game and if focusing on unvaulting will harm that, but it's still disappointing. The new maps to me in terms of gameplay go from boring to actually pretty great, which I can deal with. 50 maps in ONE season is incredible and revolutionary, even if only 20 or so of those maps will be truly great. One thing I also like about this choice is releasing them throughout the season, I remember when during mid season updates one or two new maps would come out + a ton of variations which in my opinion is on par with this new system. My main problem with creative is that simply enough, these maps just look ugly. I've seen great maps be made by the community which use some of the decorative items, but they definitely need more. A lot of the maps look simply like they're floating in the sky and look like roblox maps. Things like barriers and pillars can help with this a LOT and that really changes the okay maps from the great ones, but I do hope they even implement some completely new decorative items and blocks (like in the S1 theme, adding new colours to the main blocks or even giving them patterns), It would also help a lot if you had an option for the death box to be slime, I feel like that could make more maps feel grounded in reality. In theory, they could 100% advance this feature well enough to where you can't tell much of a difference between S1-SS3 maps and these, but I feel like that will take so long to truly do. If they end up making EVERY map for the entire future of the game made in this feature, that would really be my personal breaking point, because they just can't compare at this point. I wrote an essay here but really my personal thoughts on SS4 are that with time it'll tell
I had a lot to say about SS3 haha, I do think with time creative mode could be great it's just in its infancy right now, but the complaints are valid nontheless. The digital theme maps just feel too samey after a while, they don't look the best in terms of aesthetic. It being race maps doesn't help it feeling samey either. Right now I haven't played a ton of the creative made maps to form a concrete opinon, been busy making this video for the past few days.

I remember having a bit of a chat with Muffins about the tweet at 19:54, and I came to the conclusion that this doesn't add up to me for two reasons:
1. What would Epic limit MT from saying, and why? It doesn't feel like Epic would do something like this, especially with how much communication they give towards Fortnite.
2. The fact that Psyonix apparently has way better communication (than MT), despite Rocket League being bought by Epic.
That's interesting, I wonder if it's not epic but the higher ups at Mediatonic? Oliver's tweet does make sense but that doesn't mean they can't improve there communication and do more of it imo.

26:00 i watch smm2 content and i know that there are kaizo levels (those that are hard and require TONS of skill to beat) and then there are little timmy levels (the ones that spam enemies and obstacles and most likely have a dev exit), little timmy levels are hot garbage. So hopefully the REALLY difficult levels are kaizos and not any hot garbage.

From this season you can kinda see them take players feedback, like adding celebration previews, fixing the challenges and making them less grindy but when it comes to the big stuff they seem to struggle at, won't say they do everything players say of course but they kinda do listen, they just don't let us know that.

I've taught everything I currently know, I can't do 360 dives so it be pointless in Remaking it. In order to 360 dive you need 150+ FPS and 300 FPS to do it really fast, I can't get 150 FPS Unfortunately. Though some people have said they can _kinda_ do 360 dives on console which is capped at 60 FPS and switch is capped to 30 but I've had no luck. If mediatonic allows everyone to do 360 or a nerfed version then I'll update the guide but for now, no point in doing so.

People have commented that as well, seems like the spectator version of the music has been deleted or disabled. If you disable special spectator music it fixes the problem.

Most people who play on the switch probably only own the switch, removing it would only make the situation with the game worse.

Great video mate 👌 to me one of the biggest issue is definitely the bodyblocking and ragdoll, i agree it should be part of the game but when like me you have a bad ping AND you play on console every rounds is a nightmare. Pc players are just brick walls at this point.
Also about the FPS part, i think fall guys should set the FPS to 60 for everyone, pc player got such a massive advantage to console players in so many cases !

I don't think setting the FPS to 60 for everyone is a good idea, not this late into Fall Guys, people would be steaming mad I talked about ways they could make the game more fair in my "Why You Can't Speedrun Lily Leapers" video and they definitely can do some things to fix the issue without setting the FPS to 60, but I do hope they figure out a fix, it's probably why Lily Leapers Limbo hasn't made an appearance especially since the finale is Lily Leapers and PC players can just dominate and win almost every game in 25 seconds.
The only thing skeeping me in is the fame path （done on April 16th）and the SOUNDTRACK
Soundtrack is great, the only thing that hasn't gone down the drain in my opinion.

Yeah we've had one good season since the game went F2p it's about time we had another one, hoping SS4 will break the streak. Seasons start out great but they come to a halt near the mid point and fizzle out at the end.

- Making the vault cylce weekly/biweeky (or idk maybye removing it)
- Giving seasons a reasonable runtime (50 days Max)
- More engaging events and rewards
- and a reasonable amount of new maps. (SS3 could have been a bit better if it had a midseason update)

For your first point it's funny caues I said the same thing in my "Why Vaulting Is Killing Fall Guys video, they should rotate the maps in and out of the vault on a bi weekly basis. Sadly they said that seasons are going to be on the long side so probably 4 months is how long they are going to be but that's not confirmed in any way just my theory. That's great to hear, guinelely. Yeah once the honeymoon phase passed it became clear that the vault show wasn't that great, glad it exists but it should've been an LTM but I know why it isn't one.
Sorry if this comment is going to be incredibly long but I just wanted to point some things to get off my chest. Yeah, I've been so bored and very frustrated with this season for a while now.
- The levels in SS3 look bland and boring. I wonder what the designs of each levels of those would look like if we didn't have this Switch problem. There definitely has to be more hidden details. Speed Slider for me looks so bland, empty and very unappealing (same for Hoop Chute)! The gameplay of it is fine but it's kinda just boring.
- Airtime is SEMI-VAULTED! It is currently in solo but I remember playing Airtime in Squads Show once in SS1! I just think more Airtime in Duos and Squads would be actually interesting.
- Yeah, Squads do have more maps but it's constant Stompin' Ground round 2!
- Also in Squads, if you're starting within 30-39 players, it will ALWAYS start you with Puzzle Path only and it takes so long because people still don't know how to play it after 6 months. Why can't the game also pick Slimb Climb as a starting round if it's going to be that many players?
- Blast Ball this season has been really broken and buggy! Have you seen bushy's clip? The blast balls were actually glowing which could cause serious epilepsy! They flash red but they aren't supposed to glow. Not only that, they also sometimes blast you before the blast animation occurs. They are not sinced.
- Even if we've gotten the same LTMs, people do seem to complain about the ones we didn't have for a while anyways, such as Lily Leapers Limbo(which I get), and Pixel Palooza. I wouldn't mind getting those again because we just need more variety. Heck, where is Fall Ball Cup Squads version or Ring Hex-A-Thon? I'm talking about LTMs that don't have vaulted rounds!
- I think you forget about The Slimescraper in customs. It now has a qualification limit rather than having everyone getting a chance to qualify. Why? It's meant to be the young sister of Slimb Climb and now it feels ruined!
- Just because Roll On is a Season 4 round doesn't mean it should play the Falling Stars song. It's a Season 1 theme looking map and should've stuck to Fall N' Roll.
There's more to this list but I think I'm gonna stop here for now...
I love stompin grounds so I don't mind that personally, I legit didn't know the put a qualification limit on Slimescraper I don't play customs myself and I didn't see anyone mention that till now. I usually qualify fast on it so I'm not worried about making it but slime climb doesn't one so why does it have one? That's crazy to me, maybe when I play it again I'll have more of an informed opinon. I usually have my music volume set fairly low so the music change is news to me. Most of the comment is stuff I didn't notice nor know was a thing, so I appreciate you leaving this comment!

As someone watching post-SS4, we had no idea how good we had it back then
Debatable, SS3 was terrible at least with SS4 were getting content and consistent updates. However I do think their pushing the whole Co-op creator made maps thing a little too hard, but in terms of quality of life updates SS4 is great, made a whole 1 hour vid on it. Don't get me wrong there are quite a few things I don't like about SS4, but I definitely think SS3 is the worst season we had, no updates and huge content drought absolutely cemented that season as the worst.
@@Izzytorium I mean on one hand I get that, but on the other hand, some of the decisions they’ve made in SS4 make just playing the game a hassle
I'm guinelely asking and am curious what are the choices they made that makes the game a hassle? I plan on making a video just like this at the end of SS4 and would love to hear other people's perspective.
@@Izzytorium I noticed it when the ability to select multiple shows at once was removed. The issue you discussed about the event shows in this video is even worse, Main Show (and from others’ posts Squads and Duos as well but I haven’t played those myself this season) feels like they pick like like ten rounds on Tuesday and you have to wait until the following Tuesday for any hope of deviation from those ten. And a good chunk of the new shows this season are literally just a single round long, which is extremely repetitive. Not to mention the custom rounds they decide to showcase are either mind-numbingly easy or “make one mistake and you’re screwed”.
The skill based match making is really bugged because i literally haven't played the game in years but the minute i join i get placed with absolute pros

Mediatonic is probably not watching these videos lmao, but if they are it be funny and also would hope they take the feedback to heart, I tried to be more balanced in this video and talk about the good things they did, cause if you only mention the bad things and never when they do good, they just won't listen to you.
On switch on party promenade you can just randomly die for no reason also on switch bad things only happen on handheld mode and most players dong do that
Like round 1 Party Promenade? Or if you get it later in the game? I remember dying randomly in Pipe Dream back in SS2 and sent the clip to support and they thought I died in the previous round but I was so desynced from the server it didn't register my death till I got to Pipe Dream.

That's just unacceptable imo.
And also, the Hatsune Miku collab RUINED SS2 for like, 2 and a half weeks, there was 11 maps in rotation when the event was live, and also Stompin Ground Standoff giving 10 shards? It's practically impossible to win the mode.
I forgot that 11 maps were in rotation during that event, I talked about it a little more in my SS2 video, since this was a video about SS3 I didn't mention it much.
If only they knew what was coming..
Will say, there starting to unvault more unity made maps then their vaulting and as of 10.4 Update all the unity made finales are in the game. Seems like we'll be getting updates every month or so which is better then what we'd been receiving before. Won't say the creative maps in solo's are great, and that I agree with moving away from unity but I do think the game is steadily making strides in the right direction.
