Just before 1:30, you can see that you forgot to include the step that tells us to connect those redstone dust lines to the pistons. That got a lot of people pretty confused, and resulted in some incomplete farms.

@@kaykoskinen3952lol yeah initially, but I instead did a bunch of stuff to improve the farm for bedrock, including a really stupidly complicated way to make it afk.
note: you will need one more building block one more redstone and one more hopper, it was a mistake on the item list
This runs really fast and blows through bonemeal. It sometimes takes 20 or more bonemeal for a single tree to grow.
Yeah it took like 10 stacks of bone meal just for me to get 1 stack of wood
@@samueldavis3288yeah idk but I just extended my chest system so I can place 2 shulkers filled with bonemeal and I full up the whole farm before I run out so either you did something wrong or yours is just trippin but I know it works good from experience. Max you can get is 12 rows of wood well technically 13 but pistons can only push 12 blocks
Just have a mob farm bones won’t be a problem and if it really is a problem just farm some bone blocks from the nether lol

I love your tutotrial bro, i made the supersmelter with a huge bamboo fuel farm connected to it so i have infinite fuel and than i connect a afk cobble gen to it so i can just afk for infinite stone for building expanding my brickstone base so i will for sure hook up a bonemealfarm to a woodfarm to, works out really good, thanks for all your help in making these
Bamboo fuel dont work right since it runs outta fuel to fast no?

If anyone needs help on making this farm function properly, Add redstone repeaters next to the pistons. Make sure the arrow and prongs are facing towards them. You have to make some minor adjustments to your redstone paths. Keep some slabs in hand to prevent redstone from intersecting paths.
Edit: I’ve built this farm attempted to use repeaters, make minor adjustments to the redstone path, and all worked as expected.
Any way to incraese the speed at what a sapling takes to grow?

The trees dont grow, dispenser spend one stack for each sappling, stand 10 min for 5 trees😢. And 1 tree need 5 stacks Bonemeal, Waste of time

Love this design but for me i just do it manually on jungle trees or spruce. It saves so much bonemeal. I find if the saplings dont have open space they can take 10x for example more bonemel to grow a sapling.

@eliteswix3851 yeah i know , jus prefer to do it manually to save the BONEMEAL because it just takes to much to grow trees when they dont have free space imo.
so for yall who had the same issue as me when it would only make one line and stop the simple issue I'd that you need to need to move the 36 pistons closer. in the video the pistons are put in the wrong spot.

you need 7 hoppers for it as u used one for bone meal system and 6 for sapling collectors
It’s not working, the leaves grow all the way out of the farm and close to all don’t get broken. I’m using oak

well if you think that the best tree farm means 27 stacks of bonemeal = 2 stacks of wood then its the best and just to put it to perspective i had a farm (not the best) and it gave a 1:1 ratio (with oak like this one) but i think i found a fix you break all the leaves that arent behind the sapling (above and infront of pistons) but that removes the ONLY afk aspect the results explain themselves 2 stacks XD

made this in my survival server, everything works except I cant get the fourth row of pistons to active for the leaf crushers or for the logs, anyone know why this is happening?
bc the farm doesnt work properly smh it really sucks, just plant saplings and bone meal them its less expensive and faster

You have connected the redstone wrong.
I just used like 20 stacks of bonemeal and only got a stack and 47 logs….

My trees aren't growing and it says on wiki that trees can't grow next to adjacent blocks. How is this supposed to work? Is there a tweaked setting that allows trees to grow next to something?
Remove the blocks but do not remove the main block
This isn’t the most efficient farm but ion know much at all ab red stone n I was able to make it🙌🏻👍🏻

The sapplings wont grow at all.. just tried it out with the first part ready (the pistons and the dispenser) if I put a sappling down and start dispencing the bonemeal., it will just waste stacks but do nothing
did you accidentally make a dropper not a dispenser

This farm uses a lot of bonemeal so it is recommended to have a bonemeal farm nearby

Need hundreds of bonemeal and the pistons dont get all the leaves
Here at tip I had the same problem replace the floating block with a glass block say your looking up at the block like if u are under it place a temporary block on the left side them out 2 pistons under the temporary block facing the glass block right after the first 2 repeaters connect the pistons up with the redstone btw use glass blocks so it does not mess up the redstone this will make it so no matter what the tree can grow then just break the leafs when done and make a skeleton farm that what is did to fix the problems

Yeah, I just put your tree farm with four large kelp Farms. It works great.
My trees won’t grow. Doesn’t matter how many times I hit with bone meal. Why?

Just build a bonemeal farm & this won’t be a problem anymore as you‘ll have enough bonemeal for a loooooong time

I would not recommend building this farm. My reasons are I tested it in creative it was a waist of time building it in survival my oak and birch trees would not grow ❌

This farm is cool if you are starting out! But lots of bonemeal used up so prepare for that. Probably specific to Oak, Birch & spruce trees as there are no secondary block movers. Check out silentwhisper for a more efficient, in depth, and toggleable, late game farm (for Bedrock)
That farm is the forst redstone contraption i built on my world its too useful. Silent whisper's design works so well
Not for me. Far too complex and expensive. Not looking for all of that, and also don't want access to all or most tree types. I just need a simple & less costly auto tree farm to get extra logs, because I'm building a huge storage bank, and will need LOTS of large chests. However, seeing as people are complaining about this tutorial having some steps missing, I think I'll go with JC Plays' tutorial. He may sound "bored" or "robotic" according to some, but he gets shh done for us Bedrockers. That's what matters. 🙂👌
can you really get spruce trees to grow in there? I spent a whole freaking stack of bonemeal in one sapling nothing happened, I feel like I'm wasting bonemeal because sometimes even oak trees take so long to grow

There is it isn't automatic though
The pistons will only make 13 rows of trees. You can only afk about an hour and will have to harvest the trees. Great farm though. Lots of wood.

I followed the steps exactly but the bonemeal won't grow trees in that space. Tried a couple things different and it still isn't working

I copy this in our SMP bit it only works for Oak.. I tried birch tree but it didn't grow after I spent 7 stacks of bonemeal

Do saplings grow longer on bedrock ? In my java farm the trees grow much faster
