I would also switch out those sand cast resistors for some Mills resistors. Changing that iron core inductor to an air core inductor would tighten up the bass too. Decent score on those speakers.
@@VintageSpeakerAudiophile Yea, sand cast resistors are very poor quality. They build speakers to a price point and the most common place to save is on crossover parts. Mills resistors are inexpensive as well, a few dollars where sand cast are a few cents, but the returns are noticeable when it comes to clarity. Just switch them out with the same values as are printed on the sand cast ones.
Thank you so much, from a good Norwegian (my last name is Amundsen). I just love these thrift store finds. Recently picked up a pair of JBL LX55' for only $30.

Great idea. Thanks!
I've never swapped out resistors before. I've added/removed them. I need to check into this;

@@frodobaggins7252 I will look at that for my next crossover rebuild. Thanks.
Wow are those drivers loaded with alnico magnets?
Dang, I didn't pay any attention to that.
If I open them up again I'll check.
Uff!
Is that like a Minnesotan "Uff dah"?
Good Sir, That was a Danish sweet word for "Good Stuff" 😄you made me find a pair locally. Just the smaller KL-333A🤘@@VintageSpeakerAudiophile
