    This was very informative. Thank you Reinelda and Panama for your diplomatic gestures and willingness to open your borders to neighboring countries.

    What is an 'updated marriage license' and why would the 'original' not suffice? Just trying to avoid problems when applying for our visa.

    Does an annuity such as from MetLife count for pensionado?

    I’ve been doing extensive research preparing myself to transition. Thank you so much for sharing. I am going to be moving to Panama in 10 years (or sooner). I’m in my 40s currently, but in 10 years by then I will be in my 50s and my two daughters will be adults (in their early 20s)..
    I used to travel to Panama when I was a kid and I always loved it. I want to go back and live there this time. It’s so beautiful. Panama looks so much like Florida. My only fear of living in Panama is not speaking the language (even though people swear I’m Hispanic because of my complexion and my hair, but I am not Hispanic) LOL. I’m from Jamaica (but grew up in Florida) and I don’t speak Spanish.
    I will do the Friendly Nations option $200k property investment. I sew and I wonder if I can sew in Panama start a Sewing business in Panama?🤔
    JM

    So where does Social Security fit in here? Is it considered a government pension?

    • @Manny_Boston
      @Manny_Boston 8 місяців тому +2

      Yes, social security is considered as pension in Panama. Someone asked the same question in the audience and the lady said it's acceptable.

    Bonjour, si je comprends bien, une option mix d'investissement entre immo et compte à terme pour un montant total de 300k€ entre les deux, permettrait d'obtenir la résidence permanente immédiate ? C'est bien cela svp ?

    As for a clean police record. Is that referring to convictions only? What if someone has a arrest only record as a teenager 50 years ago? Would immigration accept that? Great video. Thanks

    • @albaptist3385
      @albaptist3385 6 місяців тому +1

      It's case by case. One would have to present the FBI Criminal Record to the immigration attorney for the appropriate answer.

      Because I have always lived in a similar weather, I don't see this is a big issue, although certainly a point to be stressed.
      That being said, depending on air conditioning has never been a problem to me, just like it's not a problem needing the heating for people living in colder regions.
