I used the watch your show all the time as a kid and it inspired me to take up engineering in college. Still underway.
@The Xenomorphian college fee in my country is not that high ,but definitely that second portion deserves a thought.
Excellent for jettisoning neighborhood kids from your yard. The smaller ones go airborne. Good times.
Wow, that is a great innovation! I love how you can control the spray pattern!
Interesting. Needs to be a part of a larger system, since it needs a support vehicle that can deploy it quickly, plus it clearly is most effective with a large water supply. Perhaps a pumper truck with this thing and reels of hose loaded on the back.
Now THAT looks fun. it's kinda hard to see where it's pointing from the machine but I wonder if you make a telescoping camera mount so you can get a higher vantage point to see from if you need to. I wonder how fireproof the components are. I bet California and Australia are gonna be BIG customers.
A really good way of utilizing an ops type machinery and incorporating firing water on fires. I can't wait to see the next big thing you guys come up with to help firefighters in wildfire situations. I saw a clip of this on CNN which brought me here. Pretty cool.....
I call it the recluse, and bye the way, you make awesome ripsaws
What happens when the hose loses pressure or gets a caught up or kinks.... hmmmmm something to think about seems like a large water tank with a pressure lock would work better hooked to the hoses so a pressure loss wouldn't cause failure in a serious fire
I wish you could also make Ripsaw Extreme Vehicle version for City Driving. You know, something unique that you would be proud to drive going to work or anywhere else, not just off-road. A cute version of it like the Renault Twizy for 1 or 2 persons only. Make it shorter and not too bulky, but will retain its appeal as an off-road and military vehicle.
I have an idea for a tank, have 2 cannons on the tank, one facing forwards and the other facing backwards, so in combat you always have your back covered and your radias will be cut in half with 2 cannons
Im no engineer, but I would offset the camera or maybe have more than one camera, like one on a raised platform. because the mist from the hose stream obscures vision.
Cool
