The Last Choir Standing is the best broadcasting TV program I have ever watched. Please remake this in 2015.

They are the best of several schools (and colleges). Ysgol Glanaethwy meets AFTER normal school hours and draws students from quite a radius. It's not altogether fair to say that they are a school choir - they have quite a wide pool of talent!

There's nothing like the original, but get over it! This group is not 'trying' to be Queen or Freddie Mercury. They are performing a choral version of his classic track. Some musical compromises have to be made when arranging music in 'other' styles. This arrangement was solid and well performed the soloist was great and to expect a male tenor to do this, I suspect would have drawn even more criticism. There are few amateurs that could pull that off = Intelligent choice with the female lead.

@syphonia246 Glee was a group of professional performers. There is going to be a difference. These guys did an amazing job singing this live.

Kurt and Lea, were older than this choir, when they sang it, and this is a school choir, not professional actors/singers

Superb song, and should have won. Welshfairy your a bit harsh she has a good voice and Cefin has had various persons singing solo.

i loved these guys .... but this was such an anti climax !
GLEE did a better job..
i've heard better choirs do better versions of this, choir lead was weak, had no range, dident hold any of the power notes, i would have told them that they sucked and they should have chosen a better song.
Glee's version is good, i've heard them live doing it and the autotune is barely heard, i was at the Freddy mercury tribute concert and George Michel was good, but for me the best version is the orgional version.
The Glee cast did it better.
Camryn Daniels This choir can sing live, Glee is a Hollywood production with a fancy sound department who can use all sorts of trickery to make them sound like amazing singers, it's not like actor haven't lip-synced before lol!!
The Glee Cast actually has a live 3d movie and a few actors and most guests have been on Broadway. AND a few of them have singing careers outside of the show
As I said in my response, to your earlier comment, it's a bit unfair to compare a school choir, with professional singers!
No you basically said that the cast of Glee uses their "fancy sound department" to sound good and you tried to imply that they may lip-sync.
Considering, Hollywood has used vocal stand ins, in numerous musicals, yep I'm sceptical.
Glee version is much better
