What I adore about kaiser chiefs and ricky.... They are human. Ricky sometimes lacks confidence in his voice. They are trying new songs and evolving.. One thing stays the same, they are fantastically exciting live. It's so easy to be overly critical. They are an entertaining band who are not scared to work hard and try something new... Rant over... Live this song and I don't care if ricky mussed high notes, he sang it with passion and he cares.
He's human, you seriously think Mariah Carey (or someone like that) never messes up on her high notes? And it's not like he messed up on the whole song, 97% of it was perfect, especially the higher note at 2:24, so for those of you saying that he can't nail the high notes, try again.
