Halle is a perfect choice because of her Voice. The characters base is about how ethereal her voice is. I am glad that Jodi supports Halle for this Iconic role. It's like when Brandy played cinderella. Like people give her a chance. Y'all loved brandy, let's give some love for Halle.

I will give the movie a chance. What I've seen in the trailers is awesome fantasy stuff and I love fantasy and science fiction so much. I've seen as child the arielle cartoon movie and the series, so I need to see this movie too. What catches me the most is all the underwater scenes and that arielle have all her sisters within the movie. From the merchandise I want that new cup and the cusion you have shown when you were at target. I the german disney store they have only the cup until now. And I want the Arielle deluxe doll from Mattel with her waterstand. But I must wait until this is available in germany.

I love so much how you styled her hair on the front with her mermaid look, (at 12:34 of your video) I did the same to my Mattel Ariel mermaid doll, but I put more hair on one side on the front haha Did you have the chance to buy The Limited Edition 17 inches doll of Ariel in her mermaid form, I wanted her so much but unfortunately the doll is sold out! This is so frustrated. I really hope that ShopDisney will make an new Limited Edition Ariel doll in her human form, if ShopDisney will and if I can have her, I don't remember if I already told you but as I know how to use silicone, I'm making a merman tail for me and I will make her a silicone mermaid tail and a silicone scally bra 😀
My point with this situation is: if KIDS of all race are not even bothered, on the contrary, they're freaking excited about what's coming (and I'm 29 and literally I'm even more excited than kids lol) why are we adults making such a fuss over it? In the end the moral of the actual Disney story is literally: let's embrace our differences, love can overcome everything as long as you put personal will to make everything work. Love has no color. As a south Italian gurl, I'd like to comment about this matter everywhere: I'm gonna be at the movies, period. Ariel, Mulan and "Pocahontas" were and are my favourite princesses. Literally Parthenope is the symbol and the protector goddess (Naples was a Greek colony and "her" citizens are also called parthenopeans) of our City, so I grew up fascinated by mermaid people, Atlantis etc my whole life... I'm not a fan of live actions remakes, and I was honestly a little skeptical too but knowing about Halle and Chlöe's talent, at some point I said "this is gonna be epic". The Italian dubbed singing version will be acted by an afro-Italian beautiful girl, she's called Yana C and I'm all for it, she is a good doppelganger for Halley's voice even tho I'm mostly used to watch everything in English since I was child, but I'll be at the movies on front row, with my nephews on top of that, cause I want them to see that the world is full of colours and we should embrace the beauty of these shades and come together thru steps like this one too. Lessons come from home and just like I grew up with open minded parents and family I want my nephews to follow this lesson and be a light into our future. We should stop making inside wars to fuel more hatred, life is already so mortifying for a reason or another... It's exhausting to know that for a kids' movie there going to be futile debates... What the hell? Don't watch if you don't want to watch. Watch, if you want to watch. That's all. Sorry for this long a** comment but I can't wrap my head over all this mess happening in 2023...
