Pierre, your interviewing style is honed and you are a professional. Our politics don't align, but I have that Capitol Heights connection with you.

I got to take a moment to personally thank Tony Terry. A few years ago my job sent me to work in Japan for a few years. I met this beautiful Japanese female who spoke English and loved R&B. She never heard Tony Terry “With You”. One evening she came to my house and I played her the video With You on UA-cam. She got emotional and hugged me. We started getting touchy feely and I smashed. Thanks Tony!!

Fabulous interview with one of my favorite artists! Two constructive comments: 1. Pierre, you are wearing out the "light skinned" comments/jokes. One or two is cool. Beyond that, it becomes unwarranted. 2. Tony, not a good look to put "Dr" on everything. People who actually earned doctorates feel slighted and it is totally unnecessary. You are "all that" without that. Your life experiences, intelligence, talent, etc, speak loudly.

The brother told you like 10 times that he wasn't tripping because he wasn't in the heat of his career. You kept pressing it like you couldn't get off of that. Brother has great balance and whatever he has been through he has had enough resilience and God to get through.
