🔥Now it begins! THE ORDER OF FEAR is here! Are you ready for melding powerful, straight-up melodic heavy metal? Then dive in here with ORDEN OGAN's hallmark epic chorus, hard riffs, and unforgettable melodies: ordenogan.rpm.link/theorderoffearYT
Um ehrlich zu sein, ich find der Song klingt wie jeder andere OO-Song. Absolut nix Neues oder herausstechendes. Ein toller Song ist es zwar, aber alles schonmal gehört. Bin beim Summerbreeze aber dabei!
It's mad to see a singer portray the limp stillness of a dead body better than most actors. I have no idea how this video was shot, or how much footage was recorded for the corpse parts, but playing dead is taxing enough when you're just doing it for a few seconds with your eyes closed, let alone repeatedly, with your eyes wide open, for however long it took to shoot each of those parts... and then there's the issue of keeping the bulk of your face still while you mouth lyrics. I mean, the white contacts probably helped disguise any involuntary eye movement, but it's still bloody impressive for a trained actor, let alone a musician, in my opinion.
Honestly, from all I've seen, Seeb seems to be a master of all the arts, he's an incredible songwriter, singer, guitarist, portraying characters in videos, and so on. He has some of the best showmanship I've ever seen from a musician.
With so much great metal these days it’s hard to dedicate time to explore bands catalogs but I really need to dive into Oden Organ. So much talent and a truly great vocal
Absolutely amazing! If the rest of the songs will be as great, or even near the level of the two released singles, then I have a feeling The Order of Fear is on its way to becoming my favorite power metal album of all time. I'm really glad to have discovered Orden Ogan a few years ago. Music like this gives me courage to face another day even in the worst of times.
I’VE BEEN WAITING SINCE 2021 FOR THIS! The references to previous albums, the name of the album literally being eponymous for the meaning of Orden Ogan…Lord, I can’t wait until summer!
With easter eggs on the album cover and call back to the past albums in this song. This is gonna be album of the year for me without a doubt!! This song is amazing!!
@@kilianb8674 The videos for Ravenhead and The Things We Believe In are referenced and shown as sets in this video. The set references to the older albums (Vale, Easton Hope) are more based on the album art (Vale is in a forest with nooses, and for Easton Hope it is overlooking the burning city of Easton Hope).
I loved this band from first listen, and this fine tune is another good reason to keep doing so. It simply does everything right. Lyrics, melody, hooks, chorus, arrangements, structure, the whole shebang. The only nitpick I have is the production. Good separation, but it's a little muddy and there's not enough bass woof. None of this however will stop your enjoyment of a superlative Power Metal number. It's a must-own. My Score: Excellent 5*
What an awesome video! I loved all the medieval stuff, and also that undead seeb hanging from waaaay up there! that take was crazy. It's also shrouded in mystery, when that thing appears talking to Alister Vale. And the guitarists playing those sick riffs and solos in some ruins, both past and future since some takes are in medieval castle ruins and others in modern era buildings in ruins.
So, just to break it down: "In winter's biting frost" - Clear reference both in the lyrics and the background to To The End, especially the music video for Things We Believe In "Or Easton Hope, that fell prey to the flames" - Outright name-dropping Easton Hope here, along with the background "In front of Ravenhead, I have yet paid my debt" - Again, name-drop for Ravenhead and the old monastery itself in the background "I've heeded thine call unto bleakest of wastes" - The background in the shot for "freeze the blood in my veins" suggests The Vale, especially with the gallows poles, but "bleakest of wastes" feels very much like it refers to the desert landscapes of Gunman as well. "Hear their call through space and time" - Very reminiscent of the space-based dangers in Final Days, especially with the followup reference to a "Dark Sun" Lots of clear (and some inferred) references to older work here, clearly Alister's journeys have stuck with him. Excellent song as always, can't wait for the full album!
Any time a band releases an album with a title theme of finality, such as Sabaton's The Last Stand or Orden Ogan's Final Days, I always get super paranoid in case it's their retirement but damn, it makes me so happy when new songs get released.
Yeah that is almost never the case I mean I know this project called Ayreon the first album was called The Final Experiment. Usually that theming is just for the album and not the whole band
I've been waiting for this song since Seeb teased about it from stage on Masters of Rock. Damn, it's even better that expected. Not only the references, best moment for me was when it hit me why we were screaming "FEAR!". Cheers to the band, can't wait to hear you live again!
So I've watched this a few times now (blimey, has it really been an hour?) and it's just struck me that this is a *really* good music video. The story told in the lyrics are told beautifully. Cool visuals. Pretty visuals. Nods to past albums (right alongside the lyrics). Quality performance from the guy playing Alister Vale (who feels one hell of a lot more mortal than he did an hour ago, which is funny considering the "solution" he was offered was probably a trick). The mild shock factor of "Why does Seeb look so limp in some of these shots? ...Oh. OH. He's swinging." I'm not in the field of critiquing anything, especially visuals, so it's difficult for me to put all this into words, but... VIDEO GOOD. ME LIKE. MANY PRETTY PICTURES :D The song is gorgeous too, but we all knew that already. We've been raving on about it for an hour. Edit: FFS, the whole point of this was to say "Good job to whoever made the video", and I never even got to it. So: Good job to whoever made the video!
Honestly one of my favorite music videos yet. It’s an incredible song as usual but the video is also just as awesomely over the top as I had hoped. Absolutely amazing.
