My wife comes from a very loud and aggressive speaking family. Her parents are always yelling even in general conversations. An average conversation sounds like they are fighting! I don’t like being yelled at and being spoken too with a tone. I’ve told my wife many times but she gets offended when I say she’s speaking with a tone. So she and I aren’t talking right now. We’ve been married for 8 years and she’s still hasn’t learned how it’s affecting me.
Sometimes i just ask my bf a question like "Do you want something to drink?" And he answers me in a tone or like hes annoyed. I'm tired of it. But then he can be very good to me.
