Brill....my Mum had one of these for years. 1973. I remember the key cards and all the programmes. 4 rinses !!! loads of water...

I LOVE that spin drain and I don't understand why they didn't keep it in modern machines; I think it distributes the load more effectively thanks to the action of water

It’s unfortunate that the cycle lights don’t work properly - a fault with the key reading program timer - too complicated to fix? ☹️, I wonder why HOOVER discontinued the keymatic system?
One of the little lamps has failed, nothing timer related thankfully. The Keymatic system was very complicated for what it was, great idea but not the most reliable
The Laundry Centre - so could you replace them? - it would be great to see it showing its current status 🙂, as well seeing it washing through the window.
Samuel Fellows I have since replaced the faulty lamps and they’re all working. I intend to make another video of the machine at some point soon.

Back when Bold had a great fragrance, similarly the next two incarnations. Not so good nowadays in my opinion.
As much as I like the key plates I don’t really see the benefit. These would just inevitably get lost or break over time.
Not sure about breaking but certainly heard stories about them getting lost/kiddies hiding them…
