Impression matters, why should i be seen in the public wining and dining with a party to a case i am treating. The impression is already biased, especially if the party am fraternizing with is seen as having more weight and influence. This is not to suggest that there are no infallible judges in Nigeria, but they are few and are strategically schemed out from handling some kind of cases.

How come every time a proposal is made to improve things in Nigeria, some like you are always opposed to reforms? I have seen photos of lawyers bringing ostentatious gifts to wedding parties of children of Judges and making deliberate and concerted efforts to be seen delivering the gifts. No worries, we are supposed to trust these judges to be above and beyond reproach! How is the performance of the judiciary working out for the average citizen in Nigeria? SMH.
