- Fallout Tactics Peoria (or Preoria) mission can be done alot easier with this helpful trick. None of the villagers will be killed and you will get another fussion battery at the end if you talk to the village leader. After Burn can be found in the missions leading up to Peoria, Macomb having the most. Found on civilians.
I never would have thought of that because it's absolutely so fucking stupid to think about it. I mean who would have thought to seriously drug a turret? lol
"Please, spare some change... _whirr..._ need fuel for my circuits... _static..._ anything to keep going... _erratic beeping..._ I promise... just a bit of power... _frantic buzzing..._ please help..."
omfg, are you seriously DRUGGING THE TURRETS to death?!
you can drug anyone to death and it isn't counted against your karma. i guess drug dealers are seen as paragons of virtue in the FOT era.
My oh my, all the bugs in BOS... But once you know the story behind it, EA Games (actual boss company to Interplay) giving developers' team 5 days for final testing, before releasing it, things become much clearer. That's when Brian Fargo finally bailed out and went solo. Can't wait for Wastelands 2...
I don't think that's a bug tho, it's gumming up the works of the turret
Hey just letting you know wasteland 2 and 3 have been released
@@brotherhoodofsteel4751 Thanks for bumping man. After playing early Wasteland 2 and Wasteland 3, now it rather seems that bugged first versions of games - are rather Fargo's trademark, rather than anyone pushing him/his team with deadlines. Nevertheless, director's cut editions are very good. Learned a lesson - waiting for later versions (or director's cut) before purchasing new games from Fargo's production. Apart from that, my full recommendation for all mentioned games.
@@MikaTamni yeah I definitely got to try wasteland two and three myself I do hope Fallout tactics eventually gets a sequel perhaps with mechanic similar to XCOM
what in the actual fuck
This is precisely why I love Peoria! Just make sure you bring enough Afterburner. Civilians usually carry a ton of it.
Psycho also works. Pretty sure buffout does too.
@@StarMarshal Yep! Not sure how much psycho and buffout you need though. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's more than the afterburner.
@@-CrimsoN- You only need 3 psycho.
@@RenamedChannel Yeah I think so. Ill have to try that next time.
Exactly what I was looking for, I already forgot about this trick, thank you!
Oh! So genious!
psycho works on the turrets as well
ive heard frank horrigan can be superstimmed to death but never tried that. like one superstim takes out 9 health, and how many you need to down 999 hp horrigan. is that amount even carriable?
lol
Turrets die from OD, who knew :D
You've gotta be fucking kidding.
And I think I known this game, really good trick :)
tbh, this is so dumb if we speak about the game engine, that it allows doing that :D
Where can you get so much after burner gum for this, they seem to die 3-5 pieces a turret
It has been a while but I remember encounters in the wasteland would provide enough. Search every body you come across/kill. Also look for it in the inventory of merchants and buy it.
I managed to collect in previous missions (In the macomb has a lot of civilians)
I know this is a year old, but in case anyone comes looking. Civilians typically have lots of drugs on them for some reason. So always check their bodies. The previously mentioned Macomb mission has a lot of them.
thanks
Nice
Omg this is amazing.
wow wish i had known that sooner. really clever
started playing this again, i wanted to try and not get any of the tribals hurt... going to try this and see if it works... would have never thought to do this..lol
Drugs aren't supposed to work on machines, androids you can recruit can't get any benefits from drugs. This trick is bugusing, which "breaks" this mission ;P.
Well you can leave three people up top, unarmed near one of each turrets.
Activate the switch, and they will just get beaten to death without being able to cast a shot.
You hear the "pew pew pew" but for some reason, while they are under attack from unarmed they don't do damage.
The turrets inside the base drop about 600 Fusion Cell Batteries, for a whopping 6000 total.
Doesn't seem to be like this was intended either.
Turrets on the surface have improved accuracy. Beating these isn't really possible without weapons
