i think there are backup vocals (you can hear it when taeil sings the high note) but it's softer than usual. the backtrack is louder in the broadcasted video because they cut out the bg noises

No need to worry, I'm pretty sure it's just the mic pack :) that's usually where they're worn. Plus if it were kinesiology tape I doubt it'd just be wrapped around like a bandage, that's not usually how you use it.
