I have been to Madeira and it is my favorite spot on Earth to live....just the cost of living is so high.....like $1700 to $ 2000 to rent a month. But the food..... the clothing......The restaurants.....everything else is very inexpensive. It is my perfect Paradise!

Madeira is a really interesting place. If you need a rest from its (mostly) sunny eastern coastline go west and you’ll have a chance for a lower temperature climate. We loved it. PS. arriving at its really special airport is another story *lol*
