@4:00 I don't get the dislike for super cups, to win it you have to win either the league ro the domestic cup which means qualifying for it is hard and then winning it means you have to beat another good team
1/2 This goes to show that (although this does not represent both what Messi and Ronaldo will do after they hang out their boots): there is a difference between *great managers* and *great players.* It's very hard to master both. *Lampard, Gerrard, Solskjaer, Henry, Van Nistlerooy* and so many more of those I failed to mention *all tried and either are struggling to find a job or in their respective leagues they're coaching, or simply gave up.* Edit: I believe there is an element of luck when it comes to managing and coaching a club at the right place and at the right time, when you have the right players in the squad in your team. *Take this opinion with a heavy grain of salt.*

Hi Tom ! Great video ! I'd like to know what is your database setup for this type of video, your detail level and such things. Thanks a lot and keep up the good job !
Never thought of it, but is it actually possible to make players stay as coaches when they retire from being players? I just saw the role change in the beginning and thought that in my saves these two always retire completely. Without even trying to stay in the game as staff. Does the editor provide any functionality like that?
Messi: Working his way up. Ronaldo: Failing his way up. Seriously, how did he get more and more prestigious jobs despite not winning anything (until he was hired by the club that already won everything before he was there).
Think messi had a slight advantage starting at bigger club. If you take that into account, I say they're even. It would be cool to see them start unemployed.
In my current fm simulation, messi is managing at tottenham and nearly won them the league after xavi nearky got them relegated last season. Great video!!
