They can be ordered and delivered in 3 weeks as they are made in the UK
Follow the fitting instructions below or watch my video to find out whats involved in fitting these plastic shutters yourself. You can also find more information about vinyl shutters on my website www.whiteshutters.co.uk/ and by clicking the links below.

This video will help if you're looking to compare vinyl and wood or plastic and wooden shutters.
Start by lifting the pre-drilled frame carefully into the recess.
Push some wedges between the sill and frame at the bottom and place some at the top to stop the frame falling forwards.
Adjust the frame left and right so it's centralised within the recess, then stand back and check you have an equal looking shadow gap all round the window.
Your then ready to start screwing the frame to the window, I am using a long extension bit and 60mm screws as there are 3 extensions frames.
This window is fairly square so I am fixing all the screws before lifting the shutters into place. On large windows or out of level windows I suggest levelling the frame, wedging it in tight and then trying the shutters before fixing any screws. You can then adjust the frame with the shutters in place.
Once the frame is fitted your ready to install the shutters. Check the adjustable ball catch is not protruding too far, I suggest winding it in a few turns before you lift the shutters into place making it easier to line up the panels and check they fit correctly.
Do this top and bottom using a flat head screw driver by pushing the ball catch down and then turning, then lift the shutters into place and insert the hinge pins.
Do the same for the remain panels and check the shutters open and close smoothly and evenly. Make any adjustments to the ball catches to help align the panels.
You can see I am winding the catches in slightly further so they are not so tight to close.
Peal off the stickers from the louvre blades, then push the cover caps into the 10mm holes to to hide all your fixings, they just snap into place.
In the video, you can see the louvre blades just miss the handle.
There's a final video you can watch showing the furnished room.
