Montgomery Clift face was strikingly gorgeous. And what a wonderful actor! I think that his style was copied by other Hollywood actors: Robert Redford, Sam Waterston,. Actors like Hugh Jackman, and Greg Peck remind me of Monty. But if they look or act like Monty, they are coping the best.

He was so beautiful and gifted, it's such a shame he lived his life so erratically at times, giving in to his drinking and drug abuse to ease the pain. We were all lucky to have had him on the planet and do such wonderful cinema. What other man/actor has starred with (and was loved by) both Liz and Marilyn? xoxo
Robert Taylor is generally considered, by many, to be the best looking male actor of all time. ( Heddy Lamar re : actress ). I think the young Monty Clift would give Taylor close competition.
