Can u tell me which coconut milk can did u use ? What’s the brand ? When I made the Dodol no oil came from the pot ! I used kiara coconut milk I am in Australia
Unfortunately mine didn't work out. Light brown color. Rather than throwing it out, I want to try and make watalappan or some other dessert using it. If I keep it on stove and heat it up, it should melt. Any ideas on how to use it to make some other dessert?
@@vchandrasekara I tried it today with half quantity because I did not have enough Lit up. In hindsight I should have made it a couple of days ago. I wanted to distribute to two families. It was too soft to cut. Very tasty. Thank you

If you keep inside the refrigerator you can keep this nearly 3-4 months.

I used KTC and sometimes oil won’t come out.That time you can add little bit of coconut oil .i have mentioned that in the video.thank you

I always make Dodol 1 week before New Year.Then I cut that into pieces and store in a container and leave in the fridge.

Really sorry here that.but once it set I don’t you can able melt that again.Where it’s went wrong?? Did you made the sugar syrup or use brown sugar ?
