I’ve recently started watching all of your t-shirt quilts video Lisa for tips and tricks with the process. Finally started cutting the shirts this morning. Even though they are my granddaughters shirts my heart was racing as I began cutting. She is away at college and I messaged her the other day to ask her a question about the quilt. She then messaged me RIP to the shirts. Thought you would get a kick out of that. Since she wants the front and back of all 20 shirts I decided to do quilt as you go. I will be going back and watching more of your videos as I go along. Wish me luck!
Hello, I hope you are having a wonderful and creative day. I sent the day in my sewing room too and now I get to sit and watch you while I hand quilt. I hope you have a fabulous week ahead. Thank you for your time and posting this video!
Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this!! My husband wants a T-Dhirt Quilt being as he recently retired. I am t the placement of the blocks part and this makes complete and total sense to me now and I will be aware of the blocks being chunked . Thank you SO very much!!
Lisa, I’ve just started following you and love watching you quilt. I’m getting ready to use the June tailor quilt kit to make my first tshirt quilt. Question, is there any reason I can’t use some leftover tshirt fabric to creative a design on my silhouette cameo? i am looking to add some cute saying or quotes. Thanks Melissa
Continuing that straight stitch with a scrap and cutting between the two is genius! I feel like that saves so much thread and effort!

Hi from Colorado Springs Colorado
What are you doing to attach the border to your block/shirt? Is it some type of adhesive?
How to add sashing around all the different sized blocks
This is great stuff! Thanks so much. When you sew the blocks together and then press them, do you press those 1/4" seams apart or to one side?
Never mind -- I see you explain that near the end.

Hi Melissa, yes you can do that using heat transfer vinyl. I've done it to fill in empty spaces in quilts before and it works great :)
Perfect! Thank you Lisa
Is there a certain app used to fit all the odd size blocks into a quilt size piece?
It looks so great Lisa Ann! And I love the license plate- I used to have one lol! Was that Harlan’s idea? Everything looks awesome. 💜
Yes, that was Harlen's idea, I thought it was perfect for your quilt ♡♡♡♡
You didn't glue baste 😊
What interfacing do you use on the back of your t-shirt quilts?
My favorite is Pellon p44f :)
Hi Lisa😊, I would like to know which heat press you recommend?
I love my heatpress from Heatpressnation.com ♡
Awesome job! What kind of fabric did you sublimate on?
