Starting in 1992, I've been to Mayo 26 times. My center of interest lies in Manulla and Castlebar, but I always find time to visit Achill. Its beauty is never changing and always inviting. I will never tire of this island!
Even on a wet overcast day it looks heavenly to me. I've stayed in Westport, Co Mayo, and can't wait to go back again, its so beautiful. Will sure fit in a visit to Achill too.
Thanks for that lovely peaceful drive, we holidayed for years [ when the kids were young] in Mrs. Campbell cottage, a 100 yards from where you saw the Women of Ireland sign. As a matter of interest, the stone houses you can see silhouetted against the sky, were built by a German architect who moved his company here after a visit!
I can't say I blame him:) Thanks for watching and thanks for sharing.I will be daydreaming about what it must have been like with a family and the laughter of children ❤️
the weather made the vegetable soup and bread all the more endearing :) I loved every place I had the good fortune to visit in our short time on the Island. I hope to return to see more and meet more folks:)
Terrific work! We visited Achill October 2019 and are hoping to return August 2024. Beautiful camera work and perfect music. This brought back a flood of memories and it showed places yet to be discovered. I am very grateful.

I am traveling over to Achill at the end of the month for a weeks fishing anyone got any idea of where i should start . I am traveling up from my home in Galway and cant wait to get there . I will be camping with my wife and need a good camp site where i can get a pint and pos a breakfast lol. Great stream thanks 👍👍👍
