Moonlight Sonata has always spoken to my soul. I am 72 years old. I am not able to play the piano at the moment. Playing this sonata has always helped to bring me peace. Thank you very much for posting this. Now, at least, I will be able to listen to it whenever I wish.

It feels like Beethoven, is crying. This song reflects great pain and suffering. I think all great composers exceeds this through their music. Alot of surrounding situations are not external.
Unfortunately many greatest composers, also modern ones, suffered child abuse. Also artists nowadays did commit suicide and they had a big child trauma.

Mt dad always played this to me. It's painful to listen to, as he was the best parent I could ever have asked for. He died two yrs ago. I miss him terribly, but so greatful to have had such a shining light in my life to guide me We were so close. I am the blessed one. Thank you, lifexxx

There was a time in my life that my vision became poor as i gazed at the Moon in the nights Sky, i could only see a squiggly line but after a Corneal transplant i am able to focus and see the blessing of a full Moon in the nights Sky again. This piece is an enormous source of comfort.
Great news! My sight has been slowly declining since an injury years ago. Not going blind, just no longer clear and light sensitive. Always ponder on what I would want my last sight to be if I were to go blind. I love the sight of the moon and I am glad you can see it.

There was a time in my life that my vision became poor as i gazed at the Moon in the nights Sky, i could only see a squiggly line but after a Corneal transplant i am able to focus and see the blessing of a full Moon in the nights Sky again. This piece is an enormous source of comfort.
Great news! My sight has been slowly declining since an injury years ago. Not going blind, just no longer clear and light sensitive. Always ponder on what I would want my last sight to be if I were to go blind. I love the sight of the moon and I am glad you can see it.
I listen to this piece several times a day. Classical music is soothing anytime of the day. It relaxes our busy minds.
