It is a sad statement of the politics played in India in deciding Awards that this great Music Director, Ghulam Mohammad Sahab was not selected to get Filmfare Award for film Pakeeza. This unfairness provoked another great artist, actor Pran Sahab, to refuse accepting Filmfare Award which was being conferred to him for his role in a Film. Who has the courage of this kind that was displayed by Pran Sahab! Music of film Pakeeza is immortal! Hats off to Ghulam Mohammad Sahab!🙏
