Your channel has definitely inspired me! I’m a woman and your “how I did it” videos have definitely helped me work on my own vessel! I’ve done so much work on my SeaRay thanks to you! I also enjoy you and anchor girls adventures, I hope to venture off further than lake St. Claire in the near future!
That's fantastic! So glad my repair videos have helped you - more to come 🫣 And if I could make it past Lake St Clair, driving a new-to-us 400 Sedan Bridge, any can 😁
Paul - You certainly inspired us. It all started with the toilet on our Sea Ray Sundancer. Thanks to you, I rebuilt the vacuum generator and stopped the constant cycling. That was about 9 years ago. At the time, I had never heard on the Trent Severn waterway, Georgian Bay, or the Rideau Canal, but your videos showed us what was possible. Fast forward to 2024, and we spent the summer on our (different) boat traveling all the way up to Perry Sound, and back, from Baltimore. It was an epic journey, and it wouldn’t have happened without you. Thanks for all of your hard work, and we can’t wait to see what is next for you and Anchor Girl.
Thanks for your inspiration and guidance! We a started out slow this year but we have some awesome videos coming up soon! We are going to visit the Chicago air and water show and the. We embark on a 10 day journey. I am absolutely loving how the videos are coming out! Our long term goal is to make a “mini loop” which will lead us over towards Georgian Bay, the Trent and then come back via the Great Lakes. This idea came from inspiration videos! ;)
Hey, Boogaboo crew! I found one of your "how I did it" videos about 4 years ago and then got hooked with the stunning Trent Severn waterways scenery and adventures. To say that you have been an inspiration is an understatement. Even though we don't own a Sea Ray, I can't thank you enough for all the enjoyment, entertainment, and knowledge. I hope we can travel the waterways in your neck of the woods someday. Thanks from N.E. Wisconsin P.S. we love the two little kitties 😻
Wonderful! Great to hear - and don't worry if you don't own a Sea Ray - we can't all be perfect 😂 As for a potential cruise over to our waters, that's just a quick run up to Mackinaw, a hop across the top of Lake Huron and you'll be on gorgeous Georgian Bay in no time. Hey, if I was able to find my way from Detroit and up to our home waters, including a portion of the Trent Severn Waterway - aboard a new-to-us boat, it's more than doable for anyone. And just imagine what an adventure that would be! As for our two little Kitty Kats, they have had a huge influence as to what our future boating lives will look like. But I've said enough, stick around to see what changes are coming up for the Boogaboo Crew in 2025 😁
Hello! I am Paul from Michigan , my wife and I bought our 1st boat 26 searay 21 years ago, we moved on to a boat that we could use in inland lakes, watching you make me want to get a larger boat to travel around the great lakes maybe head east!
Hello Paul from Michigan! Yes, there's endless boating around the Great Lakes and I hope you can get out to new areas and see first-hand how beautiful it is.
As I am sitting here uploading our latest video I’ll say that inspiration is exactly the right word! I was inspired to take the plunge and buy our first boat back in 2013 from watching your videos! And it is your “fault” that we now have our express cruiser since you in part gave me the confidence to think we could actually step up by 15 feet! And it was now 3 years ago this month that I started our UA-cam channel also inspired by you! Seriously thanks Paul!
That's great to hear, Jeff and thanks for both following along, as well as sharing your own adventures and projects. I'm thinking of doing a standalone video talking about how we all initially struggle building the confidence on doing work on our boats - and Eternity's Shore would be an excellent candidate! 🤓 Looking forward to seeing your next one. I shouldn't speculate, but my thought is leaning towards your neverending struggle with shrink-wrap or winter tarps 😉 Keep up the good work!
@ You are spot on my friend!! It just went live seconds ago and it’s all about this big fat fail with the tarp. That’s why we had a delay in videos. Giant pain in the “A!”
I did have three or four wake shots set up for this one, but decided to take a go-slow approach. Don't worry, there's more where they came from. Ya never know what's gonna show up in my Instagram feed 😉
I started my UA-cam channel after watching this channel. Hopefully I will be out more in 2025 than I was in 2024. I also watch Frank on The Retired Boater and enjoy his channel also. He and I have the same boat! I call winter time.....Planning Season.
Glad you caught that blooper! Actually, that was just a reflection of living with my lovely Anchor Girl & and I got the scares to prove it 🤣 You'll have to wait a bit longer for the news, but I will say that I'm excited for what's coming up. 😉
Hey Paul, I love your channel. You were one of the first boating channels I started to follow. I have learned a lot from you. Although my Sea Ray is not as big as yours (220 Sundeck), we are out every weekend in the summer with our family and friends when we can. Because of your videos, I hope to get my own Sundancer someday and make it over your way from our home port here in Green Bay. Keep up the good work, cheers!
Not sure if you received my first reply (doesn't seem to show up on my end), but as the old saying goes - it's not how big it is, it's how you use it 😂. Hope you're able to head east one day! Until then, I'll do my best to keep sharing insightful videos to keep you motivated!
Hey, Bruce - perhaps this would be the year to start sharing some of your projects and boating adventures in The Tubes 😉 You've got a beautiful boat as your canvas 🤓
I've had the Boating bug ever since I was a young boy 4 years ago I decided to buy a 1983 Carver Monterey 26 on a tri-axle trailer my restoration of this boat is on UA-cam I have tried to film everything I could with everything to do with restoring this boat the motor that was in it was garbage Plum locked up it will probably never run again but I ordered the brand new motor today it will be here Wednesday next week love the channel can't wait to hear the big news you'll have to reveal looking forward to it
As you know, boats are a never ending project, so good thing you caught the bug - it's what keeps us motivated and moving forward with the endless repairs 😂
Your videos are always inspiring. Because of them i purchased 93 370 Sundancer that I live on during the summer at Port Lambton. In have also been selling boats associated with St, Clair Boat Sales. Just love every aspect of boating all having been inspired by your videos . Kent
That's awesome, Kent - you're living the dream! BTW, might wanna have management touch base with their web guys to fix the errors on their website. . .
Thanks for the heads up. Can you give me an example of a mistake . Have meeting Friday and would bring this up. My bucket wish list is to do the Trent. Thanks . Kent
Our lake (Simcoe) only froze a couple of weeks ago, but the crazy ice fisherman have already set up their huts. Like you, I'll take summer on the water, floating on a boat, anytime 😁
Hi! I watch most of your videos. I once won tickets from you, but couldn't come. I live in Sweden and make boat videos from Sweden, one of the world's largest archipelagos. My Bost and My life heter kanalen, hoppas du tittar in
Yes, I've recognized similar features as we have in our own Georgian Bay, with The Thirty Thousand Islands being the world's largest freshwater archipelag - located mainly along the east side of Georgian Bay, which is part of the much larger Lake Huron. Hope to get back up that way this summer to capture more inspiration! BTW, did I ever mention my family's' connection with Sweden? I noticed you at the Toronto Boat Show (Sea Doo booth) this past weekend but chose not to approach you, as I understand and respect your need for privacy. However, I was curious to hear your thoughts on this matter as I would of loved to say hello!!
Thanks, appreciate that. A friendly hello would have been fine. We had a really good and productive time at the Toronto Boat Show last weekend. Stick around to see what we came up with while we were there!
I get a surge in subscribers today and I'm thinking one word: "Paul." The inspiration is mutual my boater friend and man, did I get a good laugh at the "extra" footage at the end of this video 🤣🤣. And the water scene... oh my, right!? It felt like I was there for a moment. I was 'okay' with the slow passage of winter 🥶here too in Ontario, Canada until launch day but now, you inspire yet again and I want to go outside and melt 🥵the snow with the blow torch 💥. I can't wait for boating season, thank you! Like so many others, you're the reason I have a boat, a Sea Ray, and the channel. And yeah, man I'm intrigued by your next project... I could tell you wanted to say what it is and I'm thinking "he's going to say it, I want to know, wait for it..." but alas 🙄gotta wait, lolol. All good! A door closes, another one opens... What is Paul going to make us "sea", I wonder? 🤔
We'll, I'll I can say is I've been dropping hints for the past few weeks, but time will reveal our plans soon enough. Stick around to 'Sea' what's coming next - and then next after that + next after that again 🫣
I'm not gonna tell you that our old 400 Sedan Bridge was a sweet boat, as it sure was. But I can also say that we're not going to buy it back. But stick around to see what we have in mind for the future. . .
We've been there in 2022 when we bought our current Boogaboo in Sandusky. Of course, that big boat was trailerd home, but I'm looking forward to returning by water next time!!

Yup, your Sundancer and Frank's are the same as our 330 we had prior. Great boats and they handle like a dream!
Love the blooper at the end! 😂. And, Come On Man!, I’m starting to get real anxious waiting to hear about your new boating plans.

Looking at getting my "Last" boat... I like your choice and our last boat was a 420 AC
Then stick around. You might be in for a surprise later this year. . .
Over here on Lake St. Clair, we only have a couple inches of snow and maybe 5-6 inches of ice. Looking forward to those summer days of boating. 🌞

Bust that drone out and let's get some outdoors winter footage, maybe some ice fishing shanty's out there😳
That's a great idea. I'm thinking it may be a little too cold for drone flight right now!

Just come on by the Western Basin of Lake Erie and come say hello at Middle Bass this year. @boatingwithnautiagain
