Megadeth performing Hangar 18 live at No Sleep Til Festival in Sydney on 18 December 2010
This Heavy Metal LA band, born in the 80's, is renowned for its distinctive, technical instrumental style.
Considered as up there with the best of the thrash metal crew, Megadeth has become a god of its musical kind with fans, credited with increasing the popularity of the thrash metal sub-genre.
With an active career spanning over 25 years the band has undergone heaps of changes, meaning it boasts a history of 20 official members. The only two original members remaining today are guitarist/vocalist Dave Mustaine and bassist David Ellefson.
Megadeth has reportedly sold in excess of 25 million albums worldwide - not bad going for founding member Mustaine, who was sacked from mega band Metallica for reportedly clashing with the other band members, alongside his substance use and violent behaviour.

i saw megadeth at enmore theatre 1990. was the best concert I've been to. the atmosphere was fucking unbelievable. we walked out drenched in sweet from head banging the whole time. unfortunately I think megadeth had a big night out before this concert. feel sorry for the fans.

@@jordandunn7938 Note that the sound isn't necessarily the triggers themselves but the sample they're triggering in the first place. They could have chosen a different sample but the triggers aren't really the actual sound

Omar Jimenez Keep in mind that Dave’s aged considerably since 1990, and can’t hit the same notes that he could hit back then. Why do you think they tuned down to D Standard in 2013? This show is just a sign that they should’ve done it earlier.

It definitely seems like he's been singing better since they tuned down
I could be wrong but i think daves vocals were bad because this was not that long after he recovered from his neck surgery. They had to go through the front of his neck, and in a few interviews he admitted that his vocals suffered and he had to relearn how to sing partially. But then again Dave Mustaine's vocals were never his strong suit.
Wrong actually. As you can see, this show is from 2010. Dave got his neck surgery in late 2011. The neck surgery didn't help things, but this video clearly shows his voice was shot even before then.
