Hits some flea markets and comic cons. Go on eBay/Amazon and look for relatively cheap loose figures. When I first started I got Toybiz Bullseye for $10 and Banshee for $7. Grim Reaper, Extremis Iron Man and Wasp are cheap on Amazon right now I think. Get your classic characters first or build some teams to see actual progress in your collection (Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, Wolverine, Spider-Man) and just go to Walmart, Target, Toys R Us, Walgreens to see the most recent waves. GameStop and Ross are good too. Facebook groups are great as well. There are so many good Spider-Man's in stores as of right now, is start there. I recommend getting Walgreens exclusive Punisher and Invisible Woman as well
