When Callum asks why Ben is so bothered about him and Ben replies “Why do you think?” - is he actually at that moment admitting he fancies Callum?... I’m never quite sure how to understand that bit. Because if he is, then that is super early/fast.
@@taylormoon177 I think he has fallen in love with him the night when Callum was holding him up. In the scene, where he thanks him for that, Ben's really nervous around him and then you can see he's really jealous of Whitney and Callum when they were in the Pub in the next scene. Also, he looks so hurt when he sits on the bank after he almost git beaten up by Stuart.

But yes, this moment here, was odd in their timeline I thought but I liked how Callum reacted. Questioning everything I guess.

Ben had just spilled his entire heart out to Callum, when Callum did not expect this at all and even less so, to be touched by Ben's heartaching story. Ben being jealous of Whitney was very clear and must have hit Ben hard, knowing that (at the moment) he didn't stand a chance with Callum, deep in denial but also starting to wonder about it all. As soon as Ben showed a closer interest in Callum, you can see the million questions on his face starting to make him doubt himself and his feelings for Whitney. It's subtle but also very obvious and brilliantly played by Max and Tony. Both of them have amazing skills to portray emotions just with their eyes and facial expressions.
I think this is a one of my favorite Ben moments..where he admits that Callum sees him. Thank you for capturing this.

I think he has always liked callum since the moment they met but became more open about it and went for callum when he realized he was gay

I always wondered that too. its not very clear what he means. or how callum takes it.
