I have used q -tips before for putting blossoms on trees. A quick tip, if you put three together using an elastic band you would fill in the tree much more quickly. And you could use the other side for a second colour so not too much waste. Love ❤️ the finished card
Wow! This is a true out-of the box, and over the wall “Home run!” Q-tips and tree leaves for grass, seriously, who knew other than you? Your brilliant ideas always keep us in a happy place. Thanks Natasha. Blessings 💜
I found this video to be absolutely amazing. So many different ways to make the card stand out. I love the way you did the sentiment, just raised enough. Thank you Natasha 😊 x
WOW!! Who wudda thunk? Using leaves to create grass! I love the way you cut out part of the image and elevated it just a bit to add dimension. Genius!!
Love the effects of the q-tips but also how you used the top limbs of the tree to make the grass. Thanks for sharing an awesomesauce square cut out of part of the tree and the sentiment. Nice additional dimensional effect.
You really do 'use what you have'! How clever to make 'grass' from the branches of the tree stamp. That's thinking on your feet. Lovely finish on the card. I really love your ideas and the fact you are willing to share them with the world.
You crack me up! I love your personality and feel it adds so much to your videos! Since you're using a stamp for something other than it's intended purpose (tree for grass), I'll share another idea you can use! I have lots of individual foliage stamps (small branches, flowers, etc.). I made a rainy scene card using stamps and water color. I went so far to add a lightning bolt (over achiever? lol)! Because I don't happen to have a specific lightning bolt stamp (I don't even know if one exists!), I used one of my small tree branch stamps using Versamark and silver embossing powder! It actually looked like a bolt of lightning (go figure!). I love this card. Using the square die like you did with the sentiment added a unique look. TFS!
Another winner Natasha. I can also see this as a Christmas card - bare tree with Christmas fairly lights where you put the leaves and perhaps a robin or two. Hope I remember this by next Christmas though!
I love this card so much! Oh my goodness thank you for the tip of taking off the backing to get the tape to bend! I feel so silly for not thinking of that!!
I always use the versa fine pine cone for my base color. I like that softer look, and it is also a nice look for vintage designs. Beautiful card! The layering really sets it off.
How lovely! I was taking a moment to ground myself before I got into my very busy Monday evening and there you were with two of my favorite things: big trees and autumn colors. Thank you once again for the calm, happy moment along with inspiration for tomorrow's cards.
Love tree silhouettes!! Come to think of it, I may have this Woodware stamp🤔 hmmm...❤ It's hard for me to get my head around your coming into Winter soon. I live in central Arkansas in the US...our weather is caught between Spring & Summer...cool, mild, hot, rainy, breezy (great kite weather) and even had snow flurries in the northern part of the state last week!!🤯 I recommend you to all new paper crafters because you don't expect your subscribers to purchase or have all the latest supplies. Your creativity is the most important assest!❤❤🌞
LOVE this stamp set! I love Woodware stamps altogether. I have several of them and use them often! I have never seen this technique, and I like it! Definitely want to give it a try! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Natasha, another beautiful card and more great card making tips we can use. I also have thought about buying that tree stamp, so seeing it stamped makes me definitely want to buy more, but thank you for sharing more of your awesome self!
Oh, this is so clever! And straight forward, even I can do this. I've been eyeballing that tree stamp set and seeing you use it also for grass, seals the deal, I'm getting it! So many ideas popped into my head watching you make your beautiful card, thank you!!!
Hi Natasha. I love trees and you perked up my evening seeing you create this beautiful tree card. I would never have thought to use this tree stamp to add grass as well. Brilliant! TFS. 💙🤗🌳
You have such great ideas! I’m not a fan of Hero Arts ink either. I rarely use the cubes I have because they don’t stamp, very well. I’m so glad I didn’t invest in the bigger ink pads.

I use up to 5 at a time too. Sure takes less time.

You could make it now for later.

@@deballen7031 Not at all Deb - as Tash would say, "go for gold".
Thank you Maggi, I'll get started on some of those over the weekend. 😃
