  • This is Part #3 of 4 of our waste holding tank replacement aboard our boat, a Sea Ray 400 Sedan Bridge.
This time we are diving deeeeeeeep into the bilge and muscling in a much larger sized tank into position, as well as reinstalling the exhaust, batteries and the rest of the electrical and plumbing connections.
A big job, but well worth the effort, as we now can enjoy increased capacity and duration between pump outs. And considering we are living full time on our boat, that is a welcome blessing ;-)

    Holy " Crap " ... lol
I can't believe you did a video on this project as I'm kind of in the same boat and this same project unfortunatly will be the first project I need to address this spring of 2017. Not looking forward to it but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do... BTW, great tips ! love the cardboard box template idea.!Also... never new about that extra pressure vent option. thanks for all the tips. Cheers.

We sold that 400 Sedan Bridge in those videos, last fall and just bought a used 330 Sundancer (ua-cam.com/video/_JSXEEKz7q0/v-deo.html) which will have a number of small projects, all of which I'll share on my channel. Hope you'll subscribe and follow along!
      Cheers, Paul.

Hello Paul, after watching you go through the installation process I don't know if I want a boat or I will get a loan to hire you. I have a back ache from watching you. I have been looking at your How To videos but this is above and beyond the call of duty. Gil in Massachusetts.

That was back on our Sedan Bridge, but I also did the same project on our last boat and I'm that video I stayed that it was going to be the last one for me ua-cam.com/video/sLLlqyPRZLI/v-deo.html
I have a bad back, living in some degree of pain most days, so I can attest that this type of project was hard on my aging body 😩
