    Hey Matt. Tere tere! Greetings from a bloody cold Estonia! Great great video and just the tonic to go with my gin ( love the infectious accent!). I've never modelled before (well, only on a cat walk darling), but always promised myself to get into it (!). And so here goes.... the start of my vertical learning curve "@ full knacker"! I'll keep you posted.....

    Things I picked up on. KV is 'unloaded' rpm/volt. Motor winding thickness is a manufacturing choice, higher KV does not mean lesser thicker windings, just less windings of the chosen wire.

    Hi Matt. Great video thanks. Would the Sunnysky combo work on the Mini Drak (not looking for a fast setup)? Thanks.

    Quick question if anyone's reading this (hope so lol)
    I have an ESC with 3 blue cables coming out of it marked A, B, and C.
    I have a brushless motor with a red, a black and a blue cable coming out of it.
    (On the other side of the ESC, obviously, there is a black and red cable and a RC controller cable, but that's another story ;))
    Do I need to guess which cable goes where? Is my ESC and motor incompatible? Or should I be connecting them differently?
    Thanks in advance,
    Gemberkoekje

      you got 3 phase= temporary hook up all 3 wires in any order= with blades off- turn on motor and see direction is correct/if backwards... swap any!!!! 2 wires= it will turn the other way ! very safe. ! :>)

    The motor comes with screws to connect the motor mount cross to the motor but no screws for the outside part to connect to the motor mount. What am I supposed to do?

    Hi I’m running turnigy 28/26 2200kv motor with 7x5 prop and a 60amp Esc with 2200mah 4s battery on a h-king bixler 2 will this be ok ?

    • @RagTheNutsOff
      @RagTheNutsOff  5 років тому

      Hey Sam, that prop is too big. 2200kv means a 6x4 prop and maybe smaller on 4S if a smaller motor. Also a 40A esc is enough, I've seen mine spike at 37A on 4S with a 6x4. Hope that helps Sam, Matt

      I never done it before as well but I am pretty sure you need to program that with ESC and not all ESC can do that, or receiver to tell ESC

      FPV - First Person View. You fly the plane via a live camera on the front of it, transmitted back to you on the ground , wearing goggles.
