My father was the gunner on this tank in the year 1970, in (Madrid) Spain, he was in the armored division "Brunete 11". With this self-propelled howitzer he traveled all over Spain for a contract to shoot the famous film Patton, winner of 8 Oscars. It was common for many American films to be shot in Spain with military personnel and equipment due to its low cost and the diversity of locations. He has many experiences about this tank that was his home for a long time. These tanks were bought by Spain and at least one is still in the Segovia artillery academy, on display. Regards.
