Music video synopsis: Set in live action real life, the Robots are sitting on a bench at an urban New York subway station, quietly and patiently waiting for Gorillaz. Guy-Manuel (gold helmet) is holding a briefcase. When the band arrives in their two-dimensional cartoon form, Guy opens the briefcase, the two gaze at it (referencing Pulp Fiction), and reveal it containing an 80's boombox. Guy plays the boombox, and this song plays as they all walk together out of the station down the street to the studio. The Robots walking all normal and stoic, while Gorillaz are jamming to the beat while walking in their own unique way. 2D is dancewalking and singing, Murdoc is slouch-walking and continually examining and groping various women passing by (referencing Saturday Night Fever), Russell is silently taking in the New York scenery and gorging on their signature food (hotdogs, pizza, cheesecake, etc.), and Noodle is breakdancing and climbing on everybody and everything. Once they get to the studio recording booth, they immediately get to work on a jam session, the Robots being the producers and sound mixers. After the session, Guy shakes hands with 2D, and the Robots exit the studio in an elevator.
Devin Pineiro Gorillaz isn't exactly one genre, they produce music in a few different genres. But the most common ones are Rap, Alternative, and Pop. But they have made a few songs that fall into World, Rock, and Disco.
It really surprises me that these two very interesting sounding bands have yet to do an official song together. fingers crossed for 2017 maybe they'll do something!

In terms of which looks awesome in that picture alone, Gorillaz wins it for me. As far as the song goes, hell, they're both pretty cool shoe shine. Also, Noodles is one that will stay with me forever.
