Is it just me or has anyone else stopped playing mk1 and goes back to play mk11 and mkx? Mortal Kombat 1 has a lot of positives but the previous 2 games just feel so much more fun and better

Not that many would care, but during the homelander trial in invasions i was knocked down by one of the saw blades, and as i died homelanders body started sliding off of the stage of rampart, and it revealed to me that the stage has a lot more design put into them then we thought. Yes, it is a bug, but getting to see outside the normal fighting grounds is a nice little bit to witness when encountering this glitch.

I've been saying this and I'll say it again. WB is either pushing NRS too much or the team at NRS has changed a lot since MKX. The bugs, delays, content, lack of community feedback is insane. It's nothing but radio silence from NRS...
At this point its not hard to tell this isn't the same nrs.
MKX was in 2015. It's probably a completely different team on MK1.
Not to mention the decimation of character lore & pushing certain agendas. It’s clearly not the same team as the glory days of MK9, X & Injustice 1. That’s when they were absolute 🔥 n the games were awesome & fun

Everyone was upset when peacemaker got delayed and probably would’ve got even more upset if Homelander got delayed, the gaming community gotta learn patience but it’s still no excuse from NRS to release a character like this (I also get it’s because he was supposed to release near season 4 of the boys)
not really, since these characters are probably are already made more than a year ago or even MK11 late at it's game cycle.
@@kianmarcial8884 DLC fighters are worked on as the game goes on to ensure they get the most time as possible before they release. Also the fighters usually don’t start development til after the announcement because ash Williams was supposed to be in MK11 but was replaced by The Joker
@@ZayTech91 Not true. All the KP1 DLC characters were being developed before the game released. Quan Chi and Ermac were both supposed to be main roster, but they ran out of time and WB forced them to release the game. Ash was never confirmed; he was just datamined. Work probably started for him but didn't make it far as negotiations were ongoing. Who is base roster and who is DLC is decided before fighting games even begin development.
@@brandonkey8065 When the KP for MK11 got revealed in the game you saw a news tab for the Pack and it said Terminator Ash Williams Nightwolf Spawn Sindel and Shang Tsung (not exactly in that order but you get my point)
@@ZayTech91Ash wasn’t replaced by Joker. He was already projected to be on the roster when they pulled the data mine. RoboCop was the one that replaced Ash. RoboCop wasn’t in the original 9 DLC, but Joker was.😳

I have not experienced these bugs, but I have not played with Homelander yet so… but, those bug are crazy.
Homelander is so powerful that he Fs up the entire game.

Theme of guest characters in Mortal Kombat went from horror characters in Mortal Kombat X to 80s action hero’s in Mortal Kombat 11 to superheroes in Mortal Kombat 1.
This actually scared me in training mode. It definitely seems to be for PS5 only

On PC its so unbearable to play MK1 because of the latency issues they need to fix it, I spent $110 on this game and its barely playable.
Kinda cool to see more of the Mansion, since we don’t have access to the Johnny Cage Mesa. The Forest is viewed as a whole for the first time. The bug has to be fixed before, Homelander is going to be used a lot. Usually the developers add the patch after the tournament. But has to be addressed as soon as possible.

I guess there’s a bug also happening to Homeland on Super’s video. Apparently there’s a button stored glitch on homelander because there’s a move keeps getting stored majority of the time

to think i even pre ordered the game on it's release and then we facing such... i paid so much for it... truly not OK..... i play sub-zero and this game just broke my feelings....
The game was undercooked on release and they've never recovered. So many bugs, unbalance and exploits. It's obvious this game needed another year of polish

This happened to me once when I did a brutality as Homelander on Shao, and I was at the Fire Temple and the camera zoomed completely out, I couldn’t even see the fighters anymore.
Well when Homelander can keep you in da corner with just his flying kicks something is wrong lol
There is also a bug when fighting Shang Tsung in towers where the sound will switch to mono... not exactly game breaking, but add it to the list I guess lol.
Damn I gotta say though the attention to detail is great, even zoomed out its so open

Honestly, this could be a hilarious setting for purely custom/local matches, but i think for evo they should probably just disable the most recent patch and revert to the last one

In a normal world this kind of bug would take a couple a days at best to fix and test, especially in view of upcoming Evo. But knowing NRS... Well, the can take just disable Homelander for a while (cough Multiverse cough) and fix it after, weeks later...

It’s on purpose. It’s just one of the game’s Easter eggs-a nice throwback to the old school MK3 glitches on the home consoles in the 90’s.
This is why I couldn’t do air combos against Homelander, the way the camera moves when fighting him is just too wonky that it’s distracting
Let this game go. As a huge fan myself I know it sucks but it’s been nearly a year and we don’t even have online practice or lobbies lol

Shouldn't have pre-ordered this game, shouldn't have got premium edition, 9 months later I barely play the game, hopped on for my week of early access to Homelander recently at least and probably not gonna play again until T1000 Conan and Ghostface, probably going to have to fork over 50$ to play them as well
You know, I did realize that when I do my combos pressing one , two, one, two with my Scorpion on any charecters they fall down from the air to the ground much faster and I can't finish my combo like I could before easily.
Scorpions gravity has been changed in recent patches, you can still do his BnBs though. Also, do you mean S12 or J12? There’s a big difference.

I actually hope this happens in EVO, this will show how LAZY NRS devs are, absolutely horrendous, they charged players 70 bucks for this and they paid for each DLC character, I hope this happens.
This entire roll out has been AWFUL. One problem after another and it only gets worse as dlc guest characters are released.
I just bought the premium version of mortal kombat 1 on steam and when your practicing the brutalities they don't work for some reason like liu kang it says to hold down the y button press down at the same time but it did nothing
All characters should b buff to Johnny level and all kameos to khameleon level if not just going to keep dying

My steam premium version of mortal kombat 1 is taking a shit right now lagging issues freezing black screens and crashing in the towers mode I only bought it a couple days ago and it's doing all this luckily I didn't pay the full 109 bucks for it I only paid 43 it was on sale I have to pay real money for shang tsung wasn't able to pre-order
