I'm not sure what I should do though: Show how to make this version (which could be vastly improved) or show how to make a new, better version that would be harder to make. What do you think?

Most local hobby stores carry carbon fiber. Also Hobby Lobby might!

+Armando Zapata You mean the carbon fiber strip? You could check out videos others have made using wood or rubber bands if you can't get carbon fiber.
