Excellent preaching brother. You are so right on target about secular psychology and philosophy trying to look within for the answers. The answers are not within us but within him that is to say Christ

Also in John 10 they go to Stone him toward the end of the chapter and he said for what good work do you stone me they said for a good work we do not Stone you but because you being a man make yourself equal with God. So everybody knew that's who he was saying he was. The works were his testimony and Witness. When John the Baptist disciples came and asked him he said tell John everything that I can do. Also he said if I try to get glory for myself it's nothing it's the father who glorifies me he testifies about me.

I like how Mark is a movie fan like myself of similar films. While not "Biblical" there's lots of commentary and information we can learn from the human condition from movies.

@@mattblom3990 When Mark talks about Lewis and Tolkien discussing Paganism, he touches on some of the things Jonathan talks about, the cruciform pattern of history and myth becoming fact.
In John 10 they say to him if you are Messiah tell us plainly. He answered I told you and you do not believe me the works that I do testify of me but you don't believe me because you're not of my sheep or something like that like halfway through John 10
Speaking of John, I encourage you to read and follow John 16.
