I clicked on this video, thinking they did this theme in light of the Titan sub going missing/imploded at that time (didn't check when it was posted at first). But until the last creation being spawned, there wasn't even any slight mention of it, so I got a bit confused. Turns out it was posted just 2 days before the Titan sub went missing lol so it really did age very well like every other commenters mentioned
I forgot I made two AI submarines a while ago. I need to see if they still work and these creators gave me some new inspiration. Love to see workshop hunters keep up the great work.
To explain what's going on at 3:40 with the reflection, the trick is that it's not actually reflecting anything! Because reflections are computationally demanding, it'd be a really bad idea to actually try to make surfaces like that reflect, especially when all you want to do is create the impression that the material is shiny and polished. So, you fake it! All you need to do is create a texture that look like the reflection of the environment, and then make your 'shiny' material display that texture in such a way that it looks like it's reflecting its environment. This texture is created by taking a sample at some point in the map when the map is generated, so it's not a ton of work. But, you can't just have one texture for a whole map, because if one area is indoors and another is outdoors, it'd be very easy to tell that the reflections are all wrong. So, placed throughout a map are nodes that each generate a texture of their own based on their environment, and a reflective material just references whichever one is closest. Assuming the nodes are placed well, the reflections should always match the environment well enough at a glance. What happened in the video is that there aren't enough reflection nodes, and the closest one is on land somewhere. And, at about 3:42 you can even see it change from one node to another! And, this second reflection looks to actually be somewhere underwater. I think the first engine to do this was Source, using env_cubemap objects, but Unreal and Unity both have the same thing.
I'd be a big dum dum if i didnt mention that Kan and friends should try out "From the Depths", i feel like that would be fun to watch both evolution or straight up building contests
Well this turned out to be some unfortunate prophecy.

Dear UA-cam, my eyesight is poor enough already and I have decent internet.
If there is an option for 1080, there is no excuse to default to 360p.
This aged like fine milk...
If water was not so wet, I might like it more, maybe? Thanks for the shows KAN.
Yay, Workshop hunters is back!
You should search for amusement park/carnival rides and ride them in first person strict follow cam

What is a submarine if it’s not underwater? A supermarine!
@AWriterWandering Well if you take the "sub" out of it or "piss cutter" as we called them, it might be called a Marine.
Have you 'Subbed' Yet.
A way not to drown underwater in survival would be great.
kan you uploaded at 3:34 am for me
